The Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead is 1 mile up the road and provides easy access to amazing hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, climbing, and skiing adventures. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Denali/Mt. McKinley, “Sleeping Lady” (Mount Susitna), and the Anchorage skyline from 1600ft elev.

Nestled on 16.7 acres of Alaskan land with access to a private lake. The perfect place to relax after a long day of adventure. (Property is shared with a main house, another cabin, and yurt) but there is plenty of space for privacy. Please please be certain of your booking dates. Relax at our NEW peaceful cabin in the woods. Space is turnkey includes 1 bedroom and loft, both w/ queen beds. The closest stay to Skilak lake loop for all of your hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures. Additionally it is the closest stay on this side to the Russian. When your day of Alaskan adventures comes to an end, return, cook dinner in the full kitchen, spend the evening lounging fireside in our outdoor space and finish off with a relaxing soak in the indoor jetted jacuzzi tub.

Spruce Bear Cabin

Discover the charm and comfort of Spruce Bear Cabin, a newly built, custom-designed getaway completed in May 2025 by its owners, Marques and Teal. The cabin features unique finishes throughout, including wood trim milled from trees found right on the property. Set on 10 private acres just outside Moose Pass, the cabin offers mountain views from every window. Keep an eye out for black bears and mountain goats, often seen roaming the surrounding mountainside during the summer.

Hope H.U.B. Have. U. Been?

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

We are also subjected to power outages in our area due to extreme weather*** Come and relax on top of the mountain overlooking Anchorage, Alaska!
