Qué harás

Let's make a "Samurai sandal" with me.
First, take off your socks and hook the ropes to your big toe. Then move the rope up and down to knit it.
The repetition of a simple work will calm the mind.
When the sole part is finished, attach the thong next. Now,let's finish it in an amazing way finally.
Put an extra rope in the back of the sole.Use a crochet needle to finish.
Please walk from the people who finished and feel the stimulation from the soles.
We do not use the real straw, but real rice straw and Samurai sandals are also available at the venue so you can touch them and take pictures.

Let's learn how to make "SAMURAI sandals" with me!
I made this sandals myseif for about 10 years and wore them.
And I came up with this workshop while I got some order by my friends.
I am working as a YOGA teacher and a chiropractor besides making "SAMURAI sandals".
I think that the stimulation from the back of the foot and split a finger will improve blood circulation and make us helthy.

It was really a memorable experience for me. Mayumi is a good instructor, very friendly, and she speaks quite good English. She introduced Japan agricultural and “samurai” history to me at the beginning, and then supported me to make my own samurai sandals. It is a super special souvenir. I can feel that Mayumi prepared this lesson with all her heart ❤️, very warm. Thank you very much!

One of the highlights of my japan trip. Very simple yet warm interaction. I love making things with my hands and Mayumi made it so easy to learn. She was very encouraging and made me feel comfortable at every step of the process. Will definitely bring my family and friends to this when I visit japan again! She was truly meant to share this craft with others.. she told me she didn’t want this tradition to die and I promise you it will live forever in my heart ❤️
