Qué harás

Take a seat in my van and visit some of the most fascinating sites of Provence. We will drive through the picturesque Alpilles, the "small Alps", stopping at St Paul de Mausole, the asylum where Vincent Van Gogh spent the last year of his life and created undisputed masterpieces like "The Starry Night", and then in Les Baux de Provence, listed among the most beautiful villages in France with its cobbled streets and the ruins of its castle, perched on top of a rocky outcrop. We will then head to Arles, where you will have free time to discover amazingly well-preserved Roman and medieval monuments but also to feel at every turn the presence of the great Dutch painter. In the afternoon, we will explore the Pont du Gard site. The bravest will be able to admire the highest Roman aqueduct bridge in the world from a breathtaking vantage point. At the end of the day, we will say goodbye in front of some wines from the Rhône valley, before getting back to Avignon with plenty of good memories.

Born and raised in Lyon, I fell in love with Provence almost 20 years ago, when I decided to leave the big city and to work as a tour guide for barge trips on the river Rhone. Provence's unique light, which inspired so many artists, has always attracted me, since I was a child. Even after such a long time I still keep on getting marvelled by what sorrounds me, on discovering new places and learning new things. What I most like is meeting travelers from all over the world and sharing with them the hidden treasures of my adoptive region.
