We've had fires, floods and lockdowns, but now we're almost back. I follow health and safety guidelines- providing face masks, sanitiser and using social distance. I have added an extra visit to an area where the bush fires burnt much of the forest. You'll see beautiful new red and green growth on charcoal trees This is an amazing chance to see the Australian bush as it regenerates. I provide a safe experience highlighting ecological/environmental awareness. Our small group experience is for only 4-6 guests. We'll drive from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, and then hike a trail away from the busy tourist hub, passing waterfalls, visiting photogenic and tranquil lookouts, and taking in views from the clifftops. This is one of my favourite places to hike and it's a wilderness area that's listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll also stop by a gallery to see the work of established Blue Mts. artists, check out some unexpected street art, and visit cafes to discuss barista techniques and share Australia's love for coffee. The unique flexible itinerary is designed for a very small group of guests and we travel by private vehicle so we can get to places others don't go. This means we rarely see other tourists. My experience is one of the safest you can choose, as I am always with you. Independent travellers love this.

I grew up in the Blue Mountains and have 35 years of experience taking school groups camping and hiking so I am very conscious of safety in the natural environment. I love creativity, coffee, and nature, and will show you the true beauty of the Blue Mountains away from the crowds. I have now completed over 450 private tours with guests from all over the world. I also love photography and can show you some fun tips along the way, particularly simple new tricks with phone cameras. My Instagram is "oneguidetours" where you'll find the latest photos of my tours and some of the secret places I go.

Donde estarás

I have ECO Pass accreditation for the Blue Mts National Park. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains is a breath of fresh air away from the city. We'll trek parts of Jamison Valley (stunning waterfalls and exciting cliffside tracks) as well as seeking out some wonderful hidden viewpoints with no other tourists. The itinerary is flexible so if conditions change I can take you to more protected areas if needed.

The it was a great personalized experience with Peter, although the weather did not help but he made the best route for me to get the feel of the location. Definitely recommend it!

I would definitely recommend Peter's trip to any solo traveller who doesn't want to explore Blue Mountains alone or any small group that doesn't want to go through the hassle of planning the trip, renting a car etc. It was an amazing day with thoughtful changes depending on the weather and just personal preferences. Very glad that I got to enjoy such amazing views and learnt more about the nature about Australia and Blue Mountains. Definitely had fun just chatting with Peter and listening to his stories too!

The day (and entire week) started with forecasted rain but we messaged Peter and booked it anyway - I’m so glad we did! Up the mountain we went with Peter narrating our adventure. Mist and fog shrouded the mountains but it actually added some magic to the experience. Peter would bring us to the best spots and show us how to take photos on our phone. He takes great pano photos for keepsakes! Just when we thought Peter couldn’t show us anything new, he’d surprise us with another fantastic experience. I thought I could only see so much mountain but I boy was wrong. Overall, Peter really knows his stuff. Best coffee, best sandwiches/pies, best mountain spots. They may seem like small things but they really compound and add to the experience. Finally, I’m so glad Peter helped us take some stunning photos or no one will believe the amazing adventure we had. If you’ve been stuck and ‘traveling through Deliveroo’ in this pandemic, then I highly suggest you get out and book Peter. I highly recommend this experience. Yau

I had such a great time on Pete's experience. There were so many great elements to it and I enjoyed each one. After picking us up from the station, Pete drove us to the mountains while engaging us in conversation. When we arrived at Wentworth Falls, we started on a delightful walk into the heart of the bush, with plenty of stops to view the waterfalls, caves, landscape and other spectacular features. The walk back to the top was challenging on the legs but there were plenty of stops along the way and the pace was just right. After the bushwalk, we stopped at a local cafe for a coffee and managed to score some fresh from the oven muffins. We then drove further into the mountains to get to Pete's recommended place for viewing the famous Three Sisters. This location was perfect to understand the rock formation in context and the best thing was that we had the place to ourselves. Further along we went for a shorter walk where Pete showed us some amazing caves and a lookout with stunning views. We grabbed some lunch from a great deli and ate it in the front garden of a lovely gallery which we later explored. Our tour day started out grey and drizzly but this did not stop us from exploring and later, as the sun came out, the mist disappeared to reveal the breadth of the valleys and the stunning scenery. One of the highlights for me was Pete's explanation of the way the Australian bush regenerates after bushfires and it was powerful to see this in action with new growth and fields of flannel flowers. A fabulous day and a real treat to see Pete so passionate about a place he truly loves.
