Qué harás

At the arrival I will offer you breakfast, and I will give you a lab coat and a cap for the access to the production area. I’ll bring you along a complete tour to discover all the steps of Parmigiano Reggiano’s production. We’ll see where the animals are bred and where the milk is mould. We’ll go into the cheese factory during milk processing and we'll witness in cooking and making cheese wheels. We’ll see then the process of salting and maturing up to enter the huge “caveau”, where thousands of cheeses wheels are guarded and laid out in long rows in the silent maturation rooms and where the scent of cheese will smell so nice and exciting that we won’t be able to resist till the final tasting of cheese and local typical products.

We will see the places I have lived since I was a child, where my uncle still produces this cheese with the same passion that we share.I love conveying my knowledge to people from other countries, which I try to share the culture and traditions of my homeland with.

The best experience I had so far in Italy…it was great to see how much Reggio Emilia has to give to the world,Claudio was a great host I can say that I made a new friend, very nice, gentle, informative and educated.He knows a lot and he was so happy to share it with group.We had an amazing day and if I have the opportunity I will do it again, I highly highly recommend it…don’t think twice, book it ASAP. Don’t forget to do the balsamic vinegar tour aswell..

Claudio is like an international man of mystery deeply connected to his roots and took us on an incredible journey through the entire cheese making process. He’s welcoming, hilarious, and makes the entire trip 1000% worth it.

If you like Italy and cheese you MUST go ! Even if you don’t like cheese you won’t get disappointed. Especially because Parmigiano Reggiano (the two words are important) is an important part of italian culture and it’s not some kind of cheese. It’s a very special one and Claudio shared that amazingly through the visit with all the people involved in the process. I spent a wonderful moment :) Thanks again !

this experience was incredible! definitely exceeded every expectation i had, and went above and beyond the price. truly, you'd spend more *trying* to achieve half of what happened in the day by yourself. exceptional!!!

Absolutely fabulous! The visit to the dairy factory is a one of a kind experience and something not to miss when you are staying in the region. Parmigiano-Reggiano is the local staple and Claudio takes you on a journey of how it's made. It's a unique opportunity to learn and immerse yourself in the food culture. Extremely informative, real, and also super friendly! I'd absolutely do it again if I return to Emilia-Romagna.

What a great experience! It was so cool to see all the steps of the parmigano reggiano cheese being made, aged, and even the dairy cows (including babies!). We will appreciate every bite of cheese a little more after seeing the hard work that goes into this family operation. This was a great experience for the children too and a safe/non-touristy activity. Claudio was a great professional and fun guide!
