The Hidden Pearl Cottage, Tybee Island, Georgia

Location, location, location! The Hidden Pearl is a restored 1910 cottage; said to have been part of the old Ft Screven army base on the north side of the island. The "Pearl" is a small (756sf) cottage now located in the (commercial district) heart of Tybee's South (main) beach. Cottage is "beach vibe" decor & cozy. For your pleasure, enjoy epic ocean views from the brand new balcony hot tub! Watch the sunrise and ships go by from your private oasis, or take 47 steps and watch them from the beach! BBQ with an ocean view then feast on the high top table with built in fire pit. Your house comes fully equipped to include a beach cart, chairs, umbrella, and towels! Hit the beach and you're a 25 min walk to the pier, or a 2 min walk to view the light house from the sand. Pictures don't do justice!

This is an iconic 1940 "Tybee Island Beach House" built in an elevated style that is a typical architectural vernacular to Tybee. Bright, light, and airy cottage with crisp white and navy accents throughout create a chic Low Country vibe while retaining the essence of a typical beach shack.

Take it easy at this unique space. Just a short five minute walk to the beach. 600 sq ft place, bottom level of our home. 1 bedroom, 1 bth, kitchenette with frig, micro & Keurig. Entry through bottom. 3 AC/dehumidifier’s units. We live on the Marsh and low tide happens twice a day. Couch could be used for one person or some small kiddos. Pop up single bed available. Beach chairs and towels. WiFi can be spotty. Provided but not guaranteed. “Island living”.

Close to shops, restaurants & this house has everything you need to enjoy your stay, large outdoor space & comfy furnishings. Please note: The house is divided into TWO units-Unit A is upstairs only with two bedrooms, two baths. Ask about our Concierge service for the ultimate vacay!
