Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. Hope you understand.

NO ADULT PARTIES AND NO MORE THAN 7 GUESTS at any time during the stay. Charge per adult after 4 is $15 per person.

Our farm cottage is the original 1920 farmhouse. It has been fully renovated keeping the charming small farmhouse feeling with covered porches and a majestic mountain view. Come and relax in the North Cascades. Always cleaned/sanitized and fully aired between stays for your health and safety.

Once off the 5-7 min ferry ride from Anacortes, in just a couple minutes more you will arrive to our whimsical cottage on the west beach of Guemes Island with its panoramic views & magical sunsets …the perfect place where you can relax in the peacefulness, walk the beaches, find treasures, hike Guemes mountain, explore your favorite water sports, and view our local wildlife of herons, seals, bald eagles, & often orcas. Buckhorn Farm Bungalow is located on ten-acres near the north shore of Orcas Island. This family vacation cottage enjoys a wonderful country-farm atmosphere but is only a 5 minute drive from the village of Eastsound, our island's version of “downtown.” Guests can easily walk or ride bicycles along level roads to restaurants, shops or to the nearby semi-private beach to enjoy beach strolls, tide-pooling and spectacular views from Mt. Baker to Vancouver Island.
