Entire downstairs apartment of a two-level home. There is a private entrance, your own full kitchen & bath with shower. Enjoy wine country in this mid-century modern home in a wooded retreat.

The apartment is approximately 900 square feet and is the lower level of a single family home. The upstairs and downstairs living quarters are divided by a stairway and a privacy wall (French doors that don’t lock)

Our family lives upstairs and our two children- 3 year old and 1 year old- are loud, especially in the morning. Living noises including walking, cooking, cleaning, conversations, laughing, kids jumping, etc. will be heard so if you're sensitive to this, then this is probably not the space for you. Many tenants have said they love the sound of little feet running up and down the hall- others don’t love it especially when trying to sleep in.

There is a laundry room that also shares a space with the bathroom and a narrow stall shower (2x3). If your reservation is two weeks or longer, we will ask to use the laundry room (there is a separate entrance) and we will coordinate days/times that work for you.

You have your own patio that stretches the length of the house and includes a hammock, garden dining and views to the expansive lot around. The home is newly remodeled with concrete floors, new paint, and modern furnishings. Turkey, deer and squirrels love to come up to the patio and say hello.

The Brush Creek area straddles the valley floor and some sloping hills. It is conveniently located in the Rincon valley area while also being the most proximate to downtown Santa Rosa. The area is served by a gently curving road (Brush Creek) which is where it gets its name. Known as an exclusive neighborhood, this area is known for large wooded lots (1/2 - 2 acre) where prices range from one to eight million. The character of the homes can vary as they were mostly custom built.

Professional couple who like to travel and meet new people. We are respectful of people's homes and try to leave the homes we stay in as clean as we found them. Nena: I work for a media company in Sebastopol. I've lived in many places (Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Haven, New Jersey and New York) I thought Sonoma County might be too sleepy of a town for me but almost 10 years later, I have discovered a vibrant, gorgeous, and diverse community with plenty of art, culture, food, and learning. I have found a neighborhood where I can work among the vineyards during the week and in the evening and on weekends we hike, go to beaches, theaters, festivals, and countless wineries and restaurants. It is my home and I love it! Michael: I supply wineries, breweries and distilleries equipment for producing their products - such as tanks, pumps, presses, bottling equipment, etc. I was born in Paris and moved here when I was two. I have always loved Sonoma County. What's not to love about a Mediterranean climate and easy access to some of the best wines in the world? I moved here from New York and I am happy to have finally settled here. It's a neighborhood I wish for everyone. Great people and everything you need within a short driving distance. It is my home and I love that I get to share it with Nena & Max. Max: Max is a contented nearly 5 year old. He loves meeting new people, reading books, playing legos, eating crusty bread, and telling jokes. He's a happy boy that is asleep by 7 p.m. and has slept 12 hours a night since he was 4 months old. Audrey: Born and raised in Santa Rosa (like her brother) since 2017. A happy, independent gal who goes for good food, dance parties, and keeping her brother on her toes.

No shared common areas however there is just a stairway and a privacy wall separating the spaces. You can have as much or as little interaction with us as you would like. We are very respectful of our guests privacy.

We live upstairs and we will be available should you need anything for cooking, shopping or dinner reservations. We work in the wine, beer & distilling industry so we can also help with tastings and tours.
