THE SPACE -
House was designed in 1928 by famous modernist (Bauhaus) architect, born in Jaffa and studied in Paris - Zaki Chelouche. This large 90 square meter fully furnished loft is a cozy home. In addition, there is the unique 40 square meter rooftop terrace, situated at the highest point of cool, hip and chic Neve Tzedek neighborhood, with sensational views to the sea, Jaffa and Tel Aviv from the roof terrace - ideal for breakfasts or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings in the warmer months! Just 15 meters away is a lovely public garden (see phot). Just a one minute walk from the beautiful Susan Dalal Dance Center, cafes, bars and restaurants of Shabazi street. Dance, Art and other culture performances almost each evening. Six minute walk from the beach, "Tahana" tourist attraction and Rothchild Boulevard. Ten minute walk to Old Jaffa and the Carmel Open Market. Easy to reach Jerusalem, Acre and other destinations for day trips.
House was designed by the locally famous international modernist architect Zaki Chelouche, son of Avraham Chelouche, who purchased the lands on which Neve Tzedek was founded in 1887. The house was built by a German family in the early 1930's. The loft is 5 meters high, a bedroom/bathroom gallery and beautiful Hebron stone floor.
Access to the 40 sq/m roof is through a common outside staircase (see photo). The roof in principle is shared by the two flats in the buildings. However the main residence of the owners of the second flat is in Jerusalem, and they normally come to Neve Tzedek for just one night a week. Very rarely do they use the roof - in fact not one guest has ever informed me about non availability of the roof due to the neighbour using it!
Detailed design, furnished with vintage items. All sheets and towels are 100% cotton; blankets and pillows filled 60-90% down and 100% cotton exterior. Extra eco pillow for any of you allergic to down. Bedroom has A/C and fan (for those of you who are sensitive to A/C). Spacious and fully equipped kitchen with two sinks, and quality electric appliances: Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee dispenser, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, large refrigerator, baking oven, gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and all the necessary kitchen utensils. Two bathrooms with large showers - both have rain shower and handle showers - for showering together.
High level stereo system - Pro Ac speakers/Denon amplifier and cd player - with over 300 jazz, rock, pop, alternative, world and classic cd's to keep the vacation atmosphere. Fully air-conditioned by two A/C's. Wireless internet. LED SMART TV 46 inch 3D Philips screen connected to satellite TV with selection of stations in many languages,

Available for you are 3 international socket adapters (for UK, North American guests, etc), iron, ironing board, hairdryer, beach towels (during the season) and the most expensive toilet paper available it in Israel!
Complementary coffee, tea, 1.5 liter mineral water, spices and olive oil.
Access to public transport to the entire Tel Aviv area and all intercity train and bus stations just 5 minutes walk.

Acceso de los huéspedes
The entire flat - 90 square meters indoors (with exception of the small gallery 8 sq.m for private storage use) plus the entire 40 sqm roof shared terrace (note - access via staircase from another entrance ) = in total 122 square meters available for guests!

Neve Tzedek is a unique and exclusive neighborhood! It was the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, when the Jews exited the old city of Jaffa in the late 19th century, due to the overcrowded, over priced and unhealthy environment there. In the recent years the neighborhood and its surroundings, went through a preservation and an extensive urban renewal plan, establishing new attractions, e.g. the old train station, the Greek Market, the beach promenade and many more....
