This unique and tranquil getaway borders directly on the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. It looks onto the mountains and with a mature fynbos garden, it is home to many species of birds and small animals.
Kelkiewyn sits above the golf estates looking out over the sea. The house is a short ten minute walk away from Fernkloof Gardens where most hikes start and it is just two kilometres from the popular Voelklip beach. The house is in a quiet close at the end of Fernkloof Drive.

The property has a full 8 kWh solar system in place.
It also has two supplementary external water tanks that can be switched to the house in case of a water outage.
Safe Security is contracted to provide continuous surveillance and response in case of emergency. In addition HPP security provide neighbourhood protection patrolling.
Baboons do sometimes pass through in search of food so it is advised to keep doors or trellidoors closed when not on the premises. Generally warning is provided by baboon monitors who follow the baoon groups.
The owner, an elderly widow, lives on the property at the back in a bedsit with her own separate entrance. Her car is parked in the garage below the house. There is plenty of parking space - the driveway can accommodate 5+ vehicles and there is additional street parking.
