The space and amenities include a shared kitchen, a tea station, washer/dryer...all you need for daily living. You just need to bring your suitcase, private toiletries and clothes.
A 15 minute walk to UofT, Casa Loma, the ROM, Metro grocery store. One minute walk to the TTC Dupont subway station and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Our 12 bedroom/6 bathroom heritage house is a unique Coliving concept that is created by the community for community. An eclectic mix of modern and vintage furniture, with whimsical touches, will bring out the curiosity in you.
Room 2A in Huron House is a private room within the BFF (Best Friends Forever) Suite, located on the second floor of our private home. While the room is completely private, the sound barrier is low within the BFF Suite.
After you come into our front door, go up the stairs and turn left. Your 2C room door is at the end of the hall, past the shared washroom. This bright and cozy room has windows with wooden blinds, and a scenic view of our front yard.
The room has been designed for you in this adventure called life. Lots of storage, a closet with hangers, a twin bed, fluffy pillows, comfy throw cushions, crisp white sheets, fluffy duvet, a work desk, a lamp, a work chair, fluffy white bath and face towels.
There's also lots of common spaces in the heritage house for some alone time or if you'd like to socialize with others. We know they'd love to meet you!
One of the shared washrooms is on the same floor, just outside the BFF Suite. The updated washroom features a modern shower with a rain shower shower head, sink, toilet, towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
In the event of a fire, follow the fire protocols listed on the back of your door. If safe to do so, evacuate the floor by stepping out of your room, down the stairs and out the front door.
Please note our house backs onto Dupont Street. North of us is the CN Railroad track. The white noise is part of the charm in this historic house built in the early 1900's. Earplugs are available at no charge.

Coliving is an intentionally shared home with like-minded individuals. Mimos Coliving is multicultural and multigenerational. Shared amenities and community events are paramount in any true coliving home. At Huron House by Mimos Coliving, guests are welcome to use amenities such as the shared kitchen, backyard, co-working lounge and library.
Our kitchens include dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils, microwave, stove, oven, air fryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, cutting boards, basic cooking supplies (oil, spices, sugar, etc)...all have been provided for guest use.
Coin laundry is onsite in the basement. An iron, ironing board, detergent, bleach and fabric softener are complimentary. Cost is $2 to wash and $2 to dry, payable into the change jar, based on the honor system. As a courtesy to other guests and housemates, please set your timer to collect your clothes.
Several common bathrooms and separate tea/coffee/microwave bars are all comforts for your enjoyment. Participate in our art therapy wall. And learn about Toronto and Canada's history from the collection of historical artifacts displayed around the house.
Enjoy the urban backyard day or night. Smoking and 420 is permitted in the designated area in the backyard.
Quiet times in the house is Sunday-Thursdays 10pm-9am, Friday and Saturdays 12midnight-9am.

Heart-Centered Care: You’ll have the opportunity to co-create a specific space (such as a stairwell, a bathroom, or a lounge area). We invite you to tend to these spaces from the heart and soul, bringing the "Mimos spirit" to life through your care and presence.
Connection: We encourage guests to join our community events or simply invite a housemate for coffee or tea.
Leadership: Grow your interpersonal and leadership skills by organizing or chairing house events.
**Staying With Us**
Stay Duration: We offer stays up to 90 days.
Membership: Stays over 30 days require a signed Membership Agreement.
Renewals: Extensions are based on room availability and your contribution to the community spirit.
