Take the famous water-powered Cliff Railway to reach Lynton (1.2 miles), perched above the cliffs, or explore the dramatic Valley of Rocks (2 miles), known for its wild goats and sweeping sea views. The wooded gorge of Watersmeet (1.8 miles) offers serene riverside trails and a National Trust tearoom, while further afield, the wide sandy beach at Woolacombe (18 miles) makes a great day trip. Whether you're walking, relaxing or sightseeing, this lodge is ideally placed for it all.
