The space
My home is your home. Your space is a recently renovated, fully self contained room with ensuite downstairs with separate entrance (shared laundry).
It's a one bedroom unit with its own ensuite (shower and toilet). The windows and doors are double glazed so it's temperate and quiet. The room has split system aircon to keep you warm in winter, and cool in summer. The room comes with unlimited wi-fi and Netflix. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, small convection oven with hot plates. See photos for better idea. You have a large fridge, hairdryer and access to the washing machine, tumble dryer and washing line as needed.
Interaction with guests
I'm happy to help you with local information, including what to see, and getting around town.
If you prefer to keep to yourself, of course that's okay too. Coffee and tea is provided.
The neighbourhood
Weston is a quiet Canberra suburb referred to as the 'Centre of Canberra', so it's convenient to many places. Cooleman Court is a great shopping centre under 10 minutes walk away with Woolworths, Aldi, Target, Post Office, Coffee shops, variety stores and a number of really good restaurants. The Irish Club is only 10 minutes walk and often has music on Sunday afternoons in summer, Karaoke on Friday nights and other events including comedy acts at different times of the year. Getting around
There is a bus stop only steps away from my house that will take you to Woden, and then the city or elsewhere. A 5 minute walk away to another bus stop will let you take a direct bus to the city during peak times. It's really easy and I can help you with timetables etc. Weston is a really central location that will get you to most places within 10-20 minutes by car.
