Industrial-style home features open floor plan, exposed brick, large walk-in closet, soaring 20-foot ceilings & windows, and exposed duct work. Fully renovated features including quartz counter tops & bar, dazzling backsplash, stainless steel appliances, upgraded ceiling fans, built in cabinetry, and fresh paint.

Please note all common areas (including the pool) are closed due to the Corona Virus. We also placed a slip cover on the couch to protect against the virus as well for extra precautions.

Fully furnished with an upgraded 4K 65’ television (wi-fi, Netflix included!), King-sized bed, large sectional sofa (that can sleep more if desired) and washer/dryer units.

Parking & City Development

Although we are excited that the city of Charlotte is growing, we wanted to be transparent with the construction going on around Trade Street. It does present an eye sore and some access difficulties, but we’ll walk you through the best way to access the unit. It has only been a minor problem based upon guest reviews and feedback. Please also note the parking policy for short term and long term guests. Parking in the garage is outside of our control and we are at the mercy of the Gateway Village Parking. We like to inform guests on these matters first before booking. We have some thoughts and recommendations to keep these costs as low as possible. These items do not present a problem to most guests and we like to over-communicate these matters first!

Pet Policy

Although we do accept pets, this is a very rare acceptance, please also ask before booking. We prefer pets that do not shed. If you do plan on proceeding, please message us first. We have found in some cases guests sneak pets in. Our cleaners do alert us of this due to the evidence behind. We do ask their be an additional $100 pet cleaning fee that is paid to the cleaner. In addition, if not previously notified and if there is pet evidence, we will also request $150 pet cleaning fee due to the preparation required after. Giving us a heads up allows us to prepare for it!

We love pets- we really do! We have had some really bad experiences with pets in the past. Usually pets leave dander that’s very difficult to remove, often times we have to block the entire day after, and some guests have complained in the past that resulted in refunds. Even hypoallergenic and non shedding pets leave traces of dander from our experience. We had experiences that some pets caused $1,000s worth of unrecoverable damage.

We really wanted to stress this point because we take pride in our home away from home. We often stay in this unit sharing with family and friends. We expect each guest to have the same experience we do and try to go the extra mile with cleaning and quality standards. Pets are dear but leave extremely difficult messes behind that has impacted future guests.

NO SMOKING

Absolutely no smoking of any kind allowed in the unit. The loft doesn’t ventilate well due to the industrial style that we live. Smoke is extremely harmful and lingers for days. Any evidence of smoke will result in $150 additional fee. We will enforce this! It really ruins future guests stays. We had guest complain about smoke from guests weeks ago. It is extremely difficult to remove and please use the common areas outside.

No Fire Arms or Deadly Weapons

Please disclose these items prior, for any circumstances. If such items are discovered, we will contact the authorities and ask you to immediately vacant the premises with no refund. We like to keep our home and neighborhood as safe as possible, so please disclose. We understand there are events in Charlotte and other reasons why such items are brought with guests, but we ask you to please disclose.

No Parties or Social Gatherings (Including Photoshoots)

We reserve the right to evict without reimbursement. There will be a $150 fee if there is evidence of this. Please note, we have a security cameras we often check to enforce this rule. We really are not comfortable with more than 4 people in the unit.

Please do not move around the furniture. There will be a $150 fee if this occurs.

Pool & Sky Lounge

In order to access the Pool and Sky Lounge, please follow the instructions below.

Walk down a block (near subway) until you see a sign that reads “Gateway Plaza”, use the blue square fob to access the building. The pool is located on the 1rst floor titled “pool”. The Sky Lounge is located on the 8th floor. Take a right from the Elevator.

Please note the pool is seasonal and usually open June+.
