Kitchen is available for tea & coffee making, use of microwave, but not for cooking meals. You are welcome to bring takeaways & use any of the three dining areas (one indoors, two in sheltered outdoor areas). Walk 1km along beautiful bush track to historic Stone Store & Kemp House. Great base for exploring the beautiful Bay of Islands, or Cape Reinga.

Home is very modern and spacious - perfect for unwinding, a weekend getaway, or as a base to explore the Bay of Islands, or 3 hours drive to Cape Reinga.

We have two extremely friendly Burmilla cats, so please avoid if you are allergic, or not fond of cats. They are kept out of the guest room, where possible.

Kerikeri is known for its many orchards providing the local weekend markets with fresh fruit and vegetables. There is the Rainbow Falls waterfall, wineries, sculpture / art garden, eateries, historic stone store, 18 hole golf course, replica Maori fishing village, mini golf and several scenic walking tracks all close by. It is a 20 minute drive to Waitangi and Paihia where so many more outdoor activities await you or take a trip across the water to the historical town of Russell.

Kerikeri, the largest town in Northland, New Zealand, is a popular tourist destination about three and a half hours drive north of Auckland, and 80 kms north of the northern region's largest city, Whangarei. It has a population of just over 7,000 people. With its subtropical climate, Kerikeri was the first place in New Zealand where grape vines were planted in 1819, citrus in 1920 and avocados in 1932. The historic town of Kerikeri is located in the beautiful Bay of Islands. With its 144 islands and bays, the bay of Islands is one of the best maritime parks in New Zealand.
