This old house was built as storage for a small colonial shop located on the ground floor in the main house next door. It was built in the 1870’s and restored as a living accommodation in 1963. The house has since then been lived in by a pottery artist and then a glass artist which both had their workshop and sales shop next door. Current owners have lived here for three years and are gradually turning it into a small homestead using permaculture and eco friendly living.

El espacio
Our place is old, and has a LOT of character. The house has basic facilities except a stove, so it is not possible to cook warm food. There is a fridge and a microwave though.

The street is one of Hortens most characteristic streets, with old colourful wooden houses. Yet only 3 minutes walk to center, with shopping, restaurants and bars. 15 min walk to nearest beach.
