* Covid-19 precautions: Yes, we're still hosting. All surfaces are disinfected between each tenant with detergent that denatures the viral envelopes and kills spread. We ventilate the apartment and bedroom for 4 hours at max-speed into the garden, with 3 windows and 1 door fully open. The apartment has its own entrance and exit, through an open garden, so no sharing of air with others in the building. All vents are separate between the garden apartment and the rest of the building, so no sharing of air with others. No-one in our neighborhood has contacted the virus.

Ubicación

Brookline, Massachusetts, Estados Unidos

* On one of Brookline's most coveted and convenient locations, only steps from Longwood Medical Area, Fenway Park, Boston University, Northeastern University.
* On a quiet and exclusive street (feels like you're in the countryside with no street noises even at rush hour), yet surrounded by shops/restaurants/bars (including Tatte, Taberna De Haro, Whole Foods, and Maluken Sushi).
* Only steps from two different Green Line T-stops (C and D lines), a 9-min ride to Copley Square.
* Short walk (0.7 miles) to Fenway Park, Harvard Medical School, the Longwood Medical Area, Boston University, Landmark Theatre/Shops, the Charles River Esplanade, Northeastern University, Kenmore Square, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Jordan Hall, Berklee College of Music, Simmons College, Hall's Pond, Leverett Pond, Olmsted Park, and the Museum of Fine Arts.

----------------

Restaurants/Bars. We live in a very quiet street, but we have a dozen restaurants and bars one block away on Beacon Street.
* For breakfast, try Tatté or Japonaise or Dunkin Donuts.
* For lunch, try Tatté (great sandwiches), or Café Landwer (Middle Eastern), or Mei Mei (Asian Fusion).
* For dinner, we love Taberna De Haro (Tapas), Gyu-Kaku (Japanese BBQ), Café Landwer (Middle-Eastern), Sol Azteca (Authentic Mexican), Audubon (drinks/bites, American), Sichuan Gourmet (Chinese).
* For drinks, try Taberna de Haro (greatest wine list in the Boston area & full restaurant), O’Leary’s (Irish bar), Audubon (great atmosphere, American bites), Wine Press (if you prefer to sip slowly in your garden oasis).
* For Take-out, try Whole Foods (salads, sushi, meals), Giggling Rice (Thai), Maluken (Sushi), Busy Bee (Ameri-can), T-Baar (Smoothies), or any of the lunch spots listed above.
We have a map showing all these restaurants in our listing, and Google Maps can help find times and menus.

--------------------

Getting downtown by public transportation. Even if you have a car, we recommend using the Green line to get downtown
The near-est stop is:
- St. Mary’s Street on Beacon Street (0.1 miles from our home, 3 mins walk)

It goes straight to:
- Kenmore (Fenway Park)
- Hynes Convention Center (Mass Ave)
- Copley Square (Back Bay Shopping)
- Arlington Street (Public Garden strolling)
- Park Street (Freedom Trail sightseeing)
- Government Center (Faneuil Hall)
- Haymarket (North End Little Italy neighborhood)
- North Station (Commuter Rail)
- Science Park (Museum of Science)
- and Lechmere (Cam-bridgeSide Galleria)

On your way back make sure your take a “C” line train to Cleveland Circle, as the Green line splits into multiple different paths after Copley Sq.

Sightseeing. There are so many attractions to see in Boston, it’s hard to know where to begin, but here are a few:
* Fenway Park. Home of the Red Sox; for concerts or baseball games, the place to see Boston come to life.
* Duck Tour. If you’re new to Boston, the best way to bring it all in, including floating on the Charles River.
* Trolley Tours. Great for catching all the historic sites and sights with insightful and fun narrations.
* Boston Symphony Orchestra. Catch an evening with the Pop’s or any of the many classical concerts nightly.
* Movie night. The Fenway 13 Regal Cinma (0.1 miles) has some amazing first-class full-flat chairs. Try them!
* Harvard Medical School. The ‘quad’ is the heart of all the Longwood area hospitals. Watch top docs walk by.
* Universities. MIT, Harvard, BU, Northeastern all surround us. The top-ranked universities in the world
* Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). World-class classical and modern collections a 20-min stroll away).
* Museum of Science. Wonderful collection of technology and science exhibits.
* Children’s Museum. Amazing place for your little ones to run, learn, play, and discover science.
* MIT Museum. Great collection of robots and other exhibits that came out of MIT.

Nature escapes. Beyond our little garden oasis lie several hidden gems for escaping the hustle and bustle:
* Halls Pond Sanctuary. Secret pond & nature preservation, unchanged for hundreds of years. In the summer, it sports a magical flower garden and nearby bench for relaxing with a book in the shade (0.3 miles down Mon-mouth, right on Hawes St and just across Beacon St).
* Longwood Mall. Magical centuries-old trees provide a fairy tale enchanted forest in the middle of our neighbor-hood (0.3 miles down Monmouth St).
* Charles River Esplanade. Stroll along the waterfront for miles of biking and running trails. Stop at one of the benches or docks to just watch sailboats and birds fly by (0.5 miles up St Mary’s street).
* Emerald Necklace. Just around the corner from our home, down Monmouth Court and Carlton Path, lies one of the best secrets of Boston, with miles of shaded strolling to Leverett Pond, Jamaica Pond, Arnold Arboretum and Franklin Zoo.
* James Kelleher Rose Garden. Across from the MFA, with Rodin’s Kiss sculpture, and many lovely benches.
* On one of Brookline's most coveted and convenient locations, only steps from Longwood Medical Area, Fenway Park, Boston University, Northeastern University.
* On a quiet and exclusive street (feels like…

I grew up in Greece and France before moving to the US (My Greek name is "Manolis"). I studied Computer Science and Computational Biology at MIT, where I am now a professor. I am co-hosting with my wife, who grew up in France before moving to Boston. We love traveling the world together, discovering different cultures, and sharing stories with friends. We love hosting on AirBnb, and every single guest has been a true pleasure to interact with. Looking forward to meeting you!
