We are located at the end of a long flag lot, with no traffic. Our property overlooks hundreds of acres of a working farm and has a horse farm next door. That said, it is only 4 miles to the nearest beach, Flying Point... with its pristine sand beaches and adjacent fresh water pond and bird sanctuary.
Tennis, bicycling, health clubs, water sports, day camps and sports and art programs for children, movie theaters are all available nearby. Southampton Village is 5 miles away. There are excellent live theater and entertainment offerings in the historic whaling village of Sag Harbor (6 miles) or in East Hampton,(10 miles).
Farm stands with local produce, gourmet markets, Art Galleries, designer shops, gourmet dining and family restaurants can be found in every nearby village from Southampton to Bridgehampton to Montauk.

Mi esposo, el Dr. Jay Meltzer, es un médico jubilado que sigue enseñando como profesor emérito de Medicina en el Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons de Nueva York. Soy consultora de contenidos y comunicaciones en el ámbito de la salud digital. Tenemos hijos y nietos que viven en la República Checa y a los que visitamos en verano. Alquilamos durante 10 años en «The Hamptons» antes de construir esta casa. Siempre nos encantó estar en las tierras de cultivo. Cuando vimos esta propiedad… ¡tuvimos que quedarnos con ella! A mi esposo, que también es un excelente pintor, le encantó la inmensa extensión del cielo con formaciones de nubes en constante cambio, los amaneceres espectaculares y las noches estrelladas. Es la alternativa tranquila perfecta a nuestra ajetreada y acelerada vida en la ciudad de Nueva York, que también nos encanta.
