This 1852 Georgian cottage was originally built for railway workers, in what would have been the artisan quarters of town.

Out front the folks would have grown fruit, this row of houses would had orchards.

There are Second World War bunkers out front. Hopefully they will never be needed again.

I’m sensitive to the history of the property and have lovingly maintained the period features, whilst adding my on unique touch.

My place is in a quiet pedestrian Georgian row of terrace houses. Step back in time, enjoy the ambient creative vibe of my home and become spell bound by this beautiful historic city.

I have a double room for rent, however happy for guest to use kitchen and dinning/living area.

Best way to find me is put Bed E Buys in phone sat nav. With your back to bed e buys go right past the next shop, then down the pathway on right ( Parkview). I'm number 3, with red brick World War II shelters in front garden.

This neighbourhood is a mix of old and new. There is a fabulous artisan pub around the corner called Burgers and Barrels.

For foodies, there is also a nice Japanese restaurant and a high end Indian, the mint room, within 200m.

We are 8 mins to green park, farmers market, with artisan stalls on wkds.
For vegans there is a lovely vegan restaurant here and great jazz at Green park brasserie.

Book ahead to have fabulous food in the Corkage-small plates and fabulous wine. Splendid coffee next door in a retro cafe- Colonna & Small's.

Nepalese restaurant Yak Yeti Yak is worth checking out- book ahead.

Bike hire around the corner, I'm right by the cycle path and just 15 min stroll to city centre where you absorb the historic charm. It's a unique shopping experience with lots of independent stores.

Soak up and ease your tensions in Bath Spa. This is the original attraction that named this charming city. Enjoy the comedy tour by night, grab a pint and pie in Raven.

Start your day in kindsmead with selection of lovely cafes.
Jazz cafe, cafe society are fab for brunch.

For nature in enthusiasts, stroll in botanic gardens, 10 mins away, there is so many astounding parks, art galleries and interesting ambling on the streets. You will have a magical experience!

For those that want to use Bath as a base, Glastonbury, Avebury and Stonehenge are within an hour. There are tour buses that make it an easy excursion.

There are many old and charming pubs, enchanting country villages -Castle Combe and lacock are less than 30 mins drive. Frome and cheddar gorge are also within this radius.

Something for everyone. Planned or unplanned a visit to Bath is an awesome break.
