Plas Tan y Bwlch is the Snowdonia National Park Study Centre located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Close to the National Mountain Biking Centre, Zip World and the world famous Llechwedd Slate mines and Ffestiniog Railway. Mountain walking on Snowdon is 40 minutes drive away, or stay local for the Moelwyns. The beaches of Harlech or Black Rock sands are less than 15 minutes drive. While staying at the Centre why not explore our Victorian gardens or 100 acres of woodlands.

Plas Tan y Bwlch is the Snowdonia National Park Study Centre, we are a Victorian Mansion located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park overlooking the Dwyryd River and Vales. Close to the National Mountain Biking Centre, Zip World, the world famous Llechwedd Slate mines and Ffestiniog Railway. Mountain walking on Snowdon is 40 minutes drive away, or stay local for the Moelwyns. The beaches of Harlech or Black Rock sands are less than 15 minutes drive. While staying at the Centre why not explore our Victorian gardens or 100 acres of woodlands. Our nearest train station is 10 minutes drive in Blaenau Ffestiniog and you can reach the bus station via a 5 min walk (at the bottom of the drive).
