Our Finnish Farmhouse is a log home that was first established in 1906. The home was purchased and completely renovated and restored from 2016-2020. The original logs have been restored on the interior of the home and many updates have been made. We are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.

Our neighborhood is rural and friendly. You can easily take walks, bike ride in the summer, pick wild flowers, sit on the patio and enjoy the country air. In the winter you can snowshoe, enjoy a day of skiing or curl up with a good book in our cozy home.

Our Finnish Farmhouse is located on 18 acres. A visible path leads to a bluff which is part of the property. The bluff is a great place to watch an early morning sunrise or an evening sunset. Feel free to walk around the field. In the fall it is not unusual to see deer eating under the apple trees along the field edge. During the summer, the fields are full of wild flowers. In winter, taking a trek on snowshoes around the field is a good workout.

Tom and Joy are both retired. We love to travel. We are very active. We like to hike, bike, fish, hunt, garden, spend time at the lake and spend a lot of time with our family. During the winter months we keep busy skiing, both downhill and cross country. We snowshoe too. We enjoy nature and all of its wonder. We try to live each day to its fullest and enjoy as many sunsets as we can.
