A warm welcome awaits you in Hillsborough House, a beautiful Victorian villa which has recently been renovated to the highest standards. Situated in twelve acres of landscaped grounds, gardens and woodland of county Tipperary our entire house is available for you to enjoy; why not relax in our comfortable drawing room, host a meal in our elegant dining room or relax in your own four poster bed at the end of the day.

El espacio
This 19th century period property has magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. It is approached by a long tree lined avenue and has its own trout stream flowing through the grounds. Wildlife abounds with early morning walkers being occasionally treated to glimpses of foxes, badgers and red squirrels.
Accommodation in the house comprises of three en-suite double bedrooms, some with four poster beds and extra accommodation in the small library which contains a sofa bed. One of the double rooms also has an extra single pull out bed. Beautiful crisp white linen, large windows, high ceilings and magnificent views overlooking the 19th Century fountain originally located in Barnane castle.
The ground floor has a large drawing room, dining room, a modern cosy kitchen and a large light filled conservatory. The kitchen is fully equipped with a modern electric hob, oven, microwave and coffee machine. A washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided. There is a large gas barbecue with a choice of outdoor seating and dining areas in the sheltered court yard or on the garden terraces where guests can relax to the sound of water trickling in the nearby centuries old fountain.
Please note guests must be aware that there are two large water filled fountains in the grounds, as well as a fast flowing unfenced river which unfortunately means that our property is not suitable for young children.
Guests have full access to the whole house and grounds during their stay. There is plenty of parking for 5 or more cars.

Ubicación

Roscrea, County Offaly, Irlanda

Here in the heart of the midlands, Roscrea, is one the oldest and most historic towns in Ireland. For thousands of years people have lived in the valley between the Slieve Bloom and the Devils bit mountains. The antiquities and monuments date as far back as the Stone Age and every succeeding age has left its own unique mark on the town and district. The town can trace its roots back to three of the sources our ancient towns have come from, the Aonach, the monastery and the castle. Because of this diversity in origin Roscrea has a wide variety of monuments and stories .
Visit Roscrea Castle and Damer House and take in the Blackmills Visitor Centre, all located in the heart of the town.
Roscrea is close to the Slieve Blooms and the Devil's Bit which are ideal locations for walking and hiking enthusiasts. Local pubs have tradtitional Irish music sessions throughout the year and the town has a good choice of restaurants and cafes to entice you in and sample the local Tipperary produce.
