My flat is surprisingly spacious (I still get surprised!). It's very quiet, homely and in a great location. The beach is 50m away where you can see beautiful sunsets and there is a lovely harbour at the end of the street. There are shops, cafes and an ice cream parlour nearby too. Another great thing is that the flat is on a bus route into the city centre. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk. Musselburgh train station is a 15 minute walk away which takes you into Edinburgh city centre in 7 minutes!

The flat is large and bright. The kitchen is really big (I’m especially proud of my blue fridge) and is great for cooking and dining if you're not eating out. I will leave instructions about how to use the cooker and oven. There is a small outside patio where you can have breakfast in the morning if the weather is good or even sunbathe if you're really lucky. The bedrooms are large and mostly have trees outside which means the noisiest things are birds looking for cherries! Both of the beds are kingsize and really comfy with excellent mattresses, pillows and lovely bedding. I am very picky about bedding! Hahaha. The sitting room is large with two comfy sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. Please let me know if you would like to use that so I can leave extra bedding. My bathroom has a full size bath and brilliant shower. To get into the flat there is a staircase with a bannister on the left hand side.

The whole flat can be used apart from a small third bedroom which we have storage in and a hall cupboard. We will mark these appropriately.

Musselburgh is a seaside town on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Musselburgh is built around the river walk and it has a lovely beach and harbour which I am lucky enough to live next to. Musselburgh is on the bus route into Edinburgh with the no.26 and no.44 bus coming every 5/10 minutes- see more on transport below). Musselburgh itself has 2 award winning ice cream parlours, cafes and the best fish and chip shop I've ever been to (called East Coast) all within a few minutes of the flat. A few minutes walk from the flat is a country estate called Newhailes Estate which has family activities, woodlands walks and a great cafe. The next town along, Portobello is well worth a visit, it has a long promenade on the beach and nice cafes on the sea front. If you like the country side East Lothian is great to explore and I will leave information on the best woodland walks and wild beaches which are a short drive away.
