Living here at this waterfront condo since 1982 and loving it! I worked in public broadcasting for 33 years, now retired. I frequently enjoy theater, seminars, and concerts - also in my personal favorite place to travel; Stockholm. Other favorite activities of mine are cooking, my book circle. In summer I spend time at our "mökki" lake cabin, - i.e. more or less one big sauna - swimming, cooking in the fireplace, reading and gathering bilberries, mushrooms and peace of mind in the forest. Swedish is my mothers tongue and the minority Official Language of Finland. I have an Authorized Translators degree of Finnish-Swedish, I'm fluent also English and understand German, Norwegian and some Danish. My guideline in hosting is to offer such an accommodation as I myself wish for: delightful, central and yet seren, comfy and well equipped - also with the smallest necessities like tape, pen and post its and - of course: wonderfully clean.
