Ever dreamed of staying in a shiny "silver bullet" Airstream travel trailer? Staying in an Airstream is so much more memorable than a pricey hotel. Airstream Alley is considered glamping in the downtown Flagstaff district. Everyone loves camping, but secretly wish they had a real bed, Wifi, a bathroom and nightlife. The Airstream Alley trailer is the perfect silver bullet outdoor lodging adventure you’re not likely to forget.

El espacio
Airstream Alley is best suited for the more adventurous traveler, and those seeking a unique guest experience out of the ordinary. Please be realistic and give a moment's thought about whether you are that sort of person and will be happy staying in a vintage 25 ft. Airstream travel trailer in the middle of the downtown district. Call it Glamping, or Airstreaming, or whatever you like. But the point is, it's basically a higher end camping experience and prospective guests should be sure they really enjoy that that kind simplicity is the right fit for them. If this all that sound fun, get the smores ready; you will love glamping in our Airstream Alley.

If you have any questions about the glamping experience, or the airstream itself - please ask. I have a good knowledge of the local area, and a deep love for living in Flagstaff. Guests will have the Airstream and surrounding deck area to themselves. We live on the property and are happy to answer any questions and help to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible but respect your privacy.

We have updated the way we do things at Airstream Alley to ensure a safe experience for our guests. The Airstream Suite itself is a "social distancer" by design. The Airstream has its own private space, with no shared air circulation or hallways. We always pride ourselves in leading cleanliness practices - but we took it up a notch; Contact-less check in, airing-out periods between guest stays, robust commercial grade disinfectants. We are closely following guidance from the Center for Disease Control to keep our guests safe.

These are truly unprecedented times. I will keep you all posted as developments occur, and please let me know via email/text if I can support you in any way. Also, as often as possible, take time to be kind to each other, as we all need a bit of kindness during these trying times. Rest assured, we will recover, and each become stronger, wiser, and hopefully a bit more grateful.
** one of our guests loved the Airstream so much he made a virtual video of his experience-I can send you the link to his you tube video upon request- as Airbnb does not allow for video search for "Airstream Alley/Airbnb - Flagstaff Az"

Acceso de los huéspedes
Guest will have street parking on the north side of Airstream off Dale Street, with Alley access. The parking lot directly behind the Airstream is a Hair Salon, the owner of the salon gets a bit grumpy if you park in his parking lot. Keep the car on the Street on Dale/Kendrick

Otros aspectos a destacar
We’ve recently updated our safety procedures and processes, as guidelines from local health officials and the CDC have evolved. We’ll continue to monitor and adapt as the situation continues to change.

Here’s what we’re doing in response to COVID-19 to ensure all of our Outposts are safe for our guests and for our team:

We’ve intensified our routine cleaning procedures; our team now spends 2x as long cleaning the airstream to ensure they’re more deeply disinfected.
The Airstream trailer is naturally socially distant. By design, they are quiet places without communal spaces or in-person interaction. This means easy self check-in and check-out processes without a front desk.

All of our team members have been trained on detailed COVID19 cleaning practices based on the guidance of industry experts.

We’ve provided and require that our team wear personal protective equipment (PPE)—meaning gloves and masks—whenever inside a cabin or within 6 feet of another guest.
Though supporting local businesses is incredibly important to us, we ask that you check local guidelines before visiting these places, including grocery stores and gas stations. We also ask that you respectfully wear a mask if and when visiting any local businesses.

Please know that we are working hard to be as thoughtful, thorough, and responsible as possible in the midst of an ever-shifting landscape. We’re here for you 24/7

AIRSTREAM HISTORY 101

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
In 1929 Wally Byam built the first Airstream. In the early 1930s Wally began to incorporate aircraft-inspired design elements into his early travel trailers, and in 1937 he released the Airstream Clipper. An American icon was born. After a brief hiatus during WWII, Airstream returned in 1948 to booming demand in post-war America. Airstream became a symbol of mid-century design, freedom, and most of all adventure.

In 1951, Wally led a group of friends on a journey from Texas to Nicaragua. This was the first Airstream Caravan, a tradition that is still alive and well today. Today, thousands of Airstreams are still produced each year in the USA – and Wally’s spirit of adventure lives on.

WALLY BYAM'S CREED
“In the heart of these words is an entire life’s dream. To those of you who find in the promise of these words your promise, I bequeath this creed… my dream belongs to you.”

• To place the great wide world at your doorstep for you who yearn to travel with all the comforts of home.

• To provide a more satisfying, meaningful way of travel that offers complete travel independence, wherever and whenever you choose to go or stay.

• To keep alive and make real an enduring promise of high adventure and faraway lands… of rediscovering old places and new interests.

• To open a whole world of new experiences… a new dimension in enjoyment where travel adventure and good fellowship are your constant companions.

• To encourage clubs and rallies that provide an endless source of friendships, travel fun and personal expressions.

• To lead caravans wherever the four winds blow… over twinkling boulevards, across trackless deserts… to the traveled and untraveled corners of the earth.

• To play some part in promoting international goodwill and understanding among the peoples of the world through person-to-person contact.

• To refine and perfect our product by continuous travel-testing over the highways and byways of the world.

• To strive endlessly to stir the venturesome spirit that moves you to follow a rainbow to its end… and thus make your travel dreams come true.

I am an Arizona native and a NAU Alumni, dreamed of owning a home in downtown to be central to everything I need. I love good food, laughing with the locals, riding my and riding my scooter around town.
