Enjoy an eco-friendly, minimalist tiny house experience! This tiny house on wheels was built from >50% reused materials, runs on solar power with generator backup, and collects and filters rainwater. The house includes running water, hot shower, composting toilet, bluetooth speaker system, and more.

The house is situated in our back yard, and we are very welcoming to people of all backgrounds. Come experience an environmentally-conscious and small-footprint way of living!

El espacio
Make no sacrifices to your sleep comfort with a 12'' full-sized memory foam mattress, which is accessed by climbing a small ladder. We designed the space to be very cozy and make a person feel surrounded by natural materials and use colors that are comfortable to be around. The decor is inspired by the mid century design and it includes many features of a normal house. We purchased bio degradable products so that the grey water could be directly transferred to the earth and the compost toilet, although different to use at first, helps to reduce water waste. Take a walk in the past while walking on reclaimed 110 year old maple floors from a house in uptown and take a minute to appreciate the salvaged walnut bowl in the entrance that we saved from a wood turner who made a mistake on a bowl. We hope you enjoy all the small features of this house because we put a lot of attention the the details!

Acceso de los huéspedes
You'll be able to access the entire tiny house which has a private entrance, bathroom, bed, and kitchenette

Otros aspectos a destacar
Please be aware you are going to be in close proximity to neighbors and are expected to take out the compost toilet when you leave which we will provide easy instructions on how to do so, similar to taking out the trash!

I am a Minnesotan electrician who loves to travel, cook, build cool things and I have a strong passion for sustainability and community. I am hoping to be apart of a transformation of the affordable housing industry by introducing sustainable tiny homes on wheels. As a host I hope to be receptive to the needs of others and hope to have more long term guests who are comfortable with interactions and being surrounded by experimental lifestyles. We are interested in raising chickens, keeping bees, transforming our property into habitat for all forms of life. Come hang out, learn, and teach us what you have to share! Or just come for a long weekend in peace and quite :) what ever you need I am happy to provide.
