the family unit consists of 2 bedrooms , 1 a double and the other a bunk room . The apartment can hold 4 guests and it has a separate toilet to bathroom with bath tub and shower. It has its own little kitchen and lounge area. Amerce yourself into yesteryear and experience our beautiful 155 year old prison and experience Australian history. You are welcome to stroll the courtyards and read the history signs throughout the building and enjoy your gaol experience. We are a little family of 5 who live inside the wall of the old prison and always love and welcome guests into our beautiful old building. It is the only gaol you will be sad to leave.

You will have total access to the whole gaol including the function room with a table tennis table, all communal lounges, chapels, courtyards and the history signs throughout the building. We are walking distance to all shops , cafes and restaurants. We are also only a 5 minute walk to the blue lake and valley lake .

We offer unique hotel accommodation like NO other. We have created our business from within a historic english gaol. We live onsite with our three kids Caine, Ari and Lulah and our cat Finnegan and dog Rhaya.

Our guests each get to choose the level of their 'gaol' experience. Whether you are up to staying in a cell overnight or would prefer to bunk up with your family in a room that used to be a warden's office, we have a gaol experience for you. We even have fully self-contained accommodation which means your own private rooms, kitchen, lounge, dining and bathrooms.

We began our family business in 2010 and LOVE what we do and where we do it. We are constantly in a state of improvement and feel we are only just beginning to hit our stride when it comes to showcasing our building, accommodation and implementing our ideas. We LOVE hosting people that are open to unique experiences and LOVE seeing couples, families and groups enjoying our hospitality and their stay in an old gaol.

We love creating something from nothing, our community, recycling old buildings before they disappear, our home town, history and of course meeting interesting, inspiring people. If that sounds like you and your up for an experience outside of the norm we cant wait to host you.
