My name is Louis and I've lived in Hackney for years. This flat is the perfect place to stay if you want to hang out here. London Fields (& Broadway Market) is 10 mins walk away, Victoria Park is 5 mins away, and it's 15 mins by bus to Dalston

The flat is in a new-build apartment block; it's by a well-connected road, but the flat looks over the garden, so it's very quiet here. We have two bedrooms, each with a double bed; one room is a little larger than the other. We get plenty of light and the flat is very warm. Although hopefully it will be warm for you in August anyway...

Hackney has become a very desirable area to live in over the last 10 years, and it's not hard to see why. The flat is perfectly placed between two parks: London Fields, with Broadway Market next door, is full of cafes and shops - it also has the Lido, which is great for an outdoor swim; and then there's Victoria Park, which is even bigger and possibly more beautiful.

The flat is not far from Shoreditch or Dalston (15 minutes by bus), but interestingly the streets near the flat have gained loads of great places to go out too. Mare Street, to the west, is worth checking out; also Clapton, especially the Lower Clapton Road. If you enjoy food, drinks and culture, you have loads at your doorstep.
