El espacio
Newly renovated (February 2023) lock off basement apartment in the trendy Highlands/Berkeley/Regis neighborhood, a 10 minute drive from downtown Denver. The bars and restaurants on Tennyson Street are a 10-15 minute walk away, and the home is even closer to two lakes with walking paths (Berkeley Lake and Rocky Mountain Lake) and the Willis Case public golf course.

This is a one bedroom apartment with a full size bed, brand new kitchenette and private washer/dryer. The kitchenette is outfitted with a microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, kettle, plus the kitchen utensils and cookware you might need.

Because it’s south facing, it receives a lot of light, which is great!

The owner lives upstairs and is out of town a lot, so the basement is very quiet.

NOTE: This is a 100 year old home, and the doorways in the basement are a bit lower than normal and there is one support beam that is also a bit lower. I dont recommend this apartment to anyone over 6 tall. The owner is 5 11 and doesnt have any issues.

Otros aspectos a destacar
This house is close to Interstate 70, but the house is well insulated and I do not notice any noise like I did when I lived downtown and there was constant honking and sirens.

The Regis/Berkeley neighborhood is a quiet neighborhood of older homes, just north of the trendy Highlands neighborhood. There’s a public golf course just a few blocks west of the house and two lakes within a five minute walk.

The trendy restaurants/shops of Tennyson Street are a 15 minute walk away.

Downtown is only a 10 minute drive.
The airport is a 20-25 minute drive.

Since this house is situated close to I-70, it’s easy to get everywhere in the city! And if you’d like to explore the mountains, Summit County (Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, Breckenridge and Frisco) are 1 hour 15 minutes from the house, directly west on I-70.
