El espacio
Very comfortable well appointed artistically decorated house in a most CENTRAL peaceful location in Bath. Attractive and recently decorated and light double bedroom, with 6 foot bed which has a beautiful comfortable mattress and Hungarian Goose Down duvet and pillows, made up with beautiful fresh linen. ( If guests prefer a man made set of duvet and pillows, this is possible on request). There is a large modern 40’ television in the bedroom. The private en-suite shower room with toilet and basin is accessed directly from the bedroom. Powerful modern shower. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
On the garden level downstairs overlooking our large private walled garden, and next door to Henrietta Park, one of the loveliest public gardens in Bath. The bedroom has a French window opening out onto the garden with seating just outside for guests to sit and admire the garden!
I love children and have 10 grandchildren of varying ages so I can provide a travel cot or camp bed for young children, please check with me before booking to ensure they are available. Only one child at a time please. I also have young children’s toys and books for all ages.
This ensuite bedroom with its own bathroom with shower, is also ideal for longer stays as there is an independent means of accessing the house and the room via a back door in my walled garden and into the bedroom through the French doors.

There is a good WiFi signal in the bedroom. Outside the bedroom door in a lobby space, there is a desk that guest can sit at if they wish to use it.
My guests keep saying that I should emphasise the beauty and quiet peacefulness of my magical garden which is a secret space and very very rare in Bath, with wonderful trees, shrubs and numerous flowers with roses being one of my favourites.
The birds are happily singing in the garden and are quite tame when they come to the bird feeder. Visitors comment on the complete peace and quiet that is experienced when they stay here. The room is on the garden side of the house and there is no traffic noise, only the sounds of the Abbey bells ringing in the early evening for bell ringing practice.

Bath, Reino Unido

We are in the centre of a Unesco World Heritage site and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to the Bath Thermae Spa, Roman Baths, Holborn Museum, Abbey, Theatre Royal, cinemas and a number of other museums. The University of Bath and Bath Spa University are in the vicinity. Henrietta Park is right next door, a lovely public garden to walk and sit and read in. Very close to the Christmas Market. The house is in a very quiet residential street on the level within walking distances of all amenities. Bath Rugby is conveniently located at the end of Henrietta Street!
Of the many regular events held in Bath, we are very nearby to the start of the Bath Half Marathon. We have the Jane Austin Festival which is held near us, the Christmas Market is a short distance away. The Bath Literary Festival and Children’s book week is held in venues very close to our house as is the Music Festival and the Mozartfest. Bath in Fashion events are held in the centre of Bath, easily reached from our home.
The wonderful FREE Mayor’s Guides give a 2 hour walk about Bath with lots of interesting tips and these are conducted twice a day.
Many visitors wish to visit Stonehenge and there are local companies that organise bus tours that leaves every morning to take guest on either a half day direct to Stonehenge and back (URL HIDDEN)
Or a day trip to Stonehenge and the surrounding beautiful countryside.
Please look up Max Max Tours: (URL HIDDEN) They leave at 8:30 am which means you reach Stonehenge before the crowds.

!! TOP TIP !! The Thermae Spa which is the number one TOURIST Attraction in Bath is quite busy in the middle of the day at weekends, why not try and either visit it first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon, or even better on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, when there are fewer people around! Don’t forget to bring your swimming costumes!

I have lived in the area for 13 years and I love the feeling of Bath being so contained and yet so diversified. We have many foreign visitors particularly parents of overseas students studying at the two universities. I enjoy my garden and work hard in it and I love visiting others. I play bridge with my friends and enjoy having them to my house. We come from a very artistic family and most of my children are very creative, the grandchildren are following suit. I enjoy going to the theatre and very often purchase tickets at the last minute to see one of our wonderful pre London productions in either the Theatre Royal or the Ustinov here in Bath. Italy is one of my favourite countries to visit, I have explored many regions, I love their way of life and am fortunate enough to have a beautiful apartment in Venice. I enjoy baking and make home made breads and cakes as well as jams and marmalade for guests breakfast. I love travelling and use Airbnb whenever I can, I have been to some interesting places. I am very happy to chat to guests over breakfast making suggestions of places to visit in Bath and helpful suggestions for good eating places! I have had over 1,000 people stay with me during the last 3 and a half years, so I have been fortunate to have met a wonderful variety of guests, many have spent longer than a week staying here for various reasons, and it is nice to have a good opportunity to get to know them, all interesting in their own way and some become wonderful friends!

This Airbnb is a very special place in a wonderful Georgian Listed Grade 1
( the highest category in the land) house with a lovely private garden of an unusually large size.
My home is extra wide as it comprises of 2 houses 21 & 22 Henrietta St, that have been internally joined together. My home is very artistically decorated with wonderful colours and details influenced by the family artist traits.
The bedroom is on the garden side of the house at garden level, down one internal flight of stairs. There is a full ensuite shower room with toilet and basin as well as a large shower. The bedroom has its own French door opening directly into the garden.
I take pride in attention to detail and guests will find attention to detail, and the guest bedrooms comfortable and cosy with finest quality bed linen.

Guests enjoy the fact that I am happy to spend time talking to them and making helpful suggestions of places to visit and I offer suggestions of things to do in and around Bath, or even further afield. I also recommend some of my favourite restaurants and cafes and draw attention to other lovely opportunities, such as a visit to the theatre, or special museums.
