Elia Woodstone Houses were renovated to highlight the architectural and traditional elements of the existing spaces. The Houses are grouped in three different complexes.

The first complex is comprised of Irida - a 4 bedroom house and Anemone a 1 bedroom house, sharing the pool and garden.

The second complex is comprised of Thalasocrino - a 4 bedroom house and Elihriso a 2 bedroom house, sharing the pool and garden.

The third complex is a 2 bedroom stand alone house Margariti, without pool.

The traditional rustic Cretan style is visible throughout the rooms of the house, with a lovely veranda, that is the perfect place to bask in the sun and feel the breeze of the mountains or the salty Mediterranean Sea. The outdoor area is composed of a cozy seating area with beautiful flowers. The house does not have pool access.

All 5 houses are located in the small village called Elia, just 10 km away from Heraklion, the capital city of the island.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with no habitable houses nearby. The view is quite stunning and unique, a characteristic of the Cretan island, where you are surrounded by mountains and sea.
Parking is available nearby in the village streets.

Elia village is located 12 km southeast of Heraklion and is just 4.5 km from the seaside village of Kokkini Hani. In the area, oil, wine and raisins are cultivated and produced.
The beautiful village is spread over a verdant, green slope with aromatic plants and colorful flowers, with ancient olive and carob trees. At the entrance of the village, you will find the central square that gathers various events and feasts with food and dancing during the summer months. In the center of the village sits the church of Agios Panteleimonas, dating back to 1911 and is considered the protector of the village.
One of the most important places of interest for the visitors, on the eastern slopes of the Karteros valley, is the Eileithia Cave or “Neraidospilios”.
Just outside the cave, buildings of the 14th and 13th centuries BC were found and were the priests’ residences.
