Pass through the courtyard of the original Victorian homestead and you’ll step into a striking open-plan space that’s perfect for entertaining. A fusion of retro and right-on-trend, the sympathetic restoration has resulted in a light, bright lounge area with a large sofa and a Smart TV, Table Football, plus a centre-stage dining suite where the conversation will doubtless flow long after the last dinner plate has been cleared. The smart, contemporary kitchen – complete with a range-style cooker – is sure to inspire culinary creativity and has an island unit with seats so the chef can have company while he or she works. Completing the ground floor, there’s a convenient utility space perfect where you can cast off coats and boots.
