“This is an outdoor mall with a collection of shops, dining, and entertainment options. What makes it special- its built around a lake! They have attractions including an alligator adventure and carousel for kids, or a House of Blues and the Alabama Theatre for adults. Shop the day away at fashionable boutiques and souvenir shops. Dining options range from sit down spots to food carts.”

Place to eat
“There is a grill attached to the pier. They have all the usual bar food and drinks. Their hot wings and nachos are good. If you like cocktails, they have a tasty orange creamsicle cocktail. If you are on the beach and don't want to leave the sunshine, you can order and pick up. You can also walk in with your beach attire and get served. You can also sit oceanfront on their deck to eat which is nice in the spring. They also have a walk up window for ice cream. You can pay a small fee and walk the length of the pier. We have taken some great photos out there at the end of the pier. ”

Marisquería

“Hoskins Seafood Restaurant is a local favorite. That is why when you go there will be a line down the sidewalk. But it moves very fast so don’t let that deter you. The restaurant has been in the same location and owned by the same family since 1948. There large shrimp and flounder are the best I’ve ever had. I get the large platter because the small is only about $2.00 less and I get a doggie bag. Good leftovers! It’s about 13 miles or a 20 minute drive, but lots to see and do along the way. Well worth the trip and fun to go in the shops in North Myrtle Beach.”
