Number Six Corffe Cottages offers spacious reverse level accommodation. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bunk bedrooms, both with adult-sized bunk beds. There are also two bathrooms with bath, overhead shower and WC as well as a separate shower room and WC. On the first floor there is a spacious open-plan kitchen with island, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. The kitchen leads into a separate dining area with a long oak table and then into a sitting room comfortably furnished with sofas plus a flat screen TV with Freeview and integrated DVD.

With it’s beautiful views St Peter’s Church in Tawstock dates back to the 14th century. Take a look inside and you’ll see the impressive ceiling with its Italian plaster work, medieval glass windows and intricate carved benches. St Peter’s Church is also home to several fine monuments and tombs. Next to the thatched primary school you’ll find ‘Holy Well’ one of the largest Holy Wells in the country. It was first recorded in the 14th Century it is grade 2 listed and was restored in 1938. Barnstaple Once a river port Barnstable is now a thriving town with a market, shopping centre, theatre, cinema and leisure centre. Offering much more than just your high street chains the town prides itself on its independent shops, local produce and colourful history. Voted one of the top 10 food markets in the UK the historic Panier Market is definitely worth a visit. Operating six days a week throughout most of the year it offers a huge range of exciting fresh produce, handmade arts and crafts plus a fantastic range of antiques and collectables. When it comes to eating out you’ll be spoilt for choice as the town is bursting with fantastic independent restaurants. Whether you prefer Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Spanish or simply a good old British classic you’ll find it in Barnstaple. If you like something a bit different then be sure to check out the regular street food markets that take place around the town.   • Éramos un grupo de 7 incluyendo 3 niños. La casa era hermosa y espaciosa. Los niños se lo pasaron bien corriendo y jugando en las literas. También pasamos un buen rato en la piscina climatizada. En general, toda la propiedad estaba limpia y tenía todas las comodidades. La única necesidad que faltaba eran los rollos de cocina. Supongo que era sólo un pequeño gaffe. De lo contrario, hospedarme en Corffe fue un gran placer y esperamos volver :) ¡Seguid así!

    Hele is an inviting village situated just outside the bustling seaside resort of Ilfracombe. The main road leads down to Hele Bay, a sheltered cove with safe sand and shingle beach, and numerous rock pools to be explored at low tide. The village itself boasts a choice of pub restaurants, a beachside café, parking, and a garage along with a well-stocked shop, selling fresh bread and cakes, alcohol, frozen and chilled groceries, milk and newspapers. Hele's 16th century corn mill has been fully restored and offers visitors the opportunity to purchase unique pottery, watch a demonstration, or have a go. Hele is separated from Ilfracombe by Hillsborough, the summit of which rises to an imposing 447ft above sea level.   • Heatherdown es una casa tan increíble que fue el destino perfecto para nuestro gran fin de semana familiar. Las vistas son simplemente impresionantes y la casa está bellamente decorada, hay mucho espacio adentro para los días lluviosos y la cocina está muy bien equipada también.     Beautiful contemporary cottage within the grounds of Lower Buttercombe Farm, that has been recently developed with outstanding panoramic views across the rolling countryside. Fantastic location close to many of the most popular beaches of North Devon; Woolacombe (under 3 miles); Saunton Sands and its world famous Golf Course, Ilfracombe with its famous tunnel beaches, beautiful harbour, Michelin star restaurant The Olive Room, Damien Hirst Verity and his restaurant! Off Road Quad Biking & Clay Pidgeon Shooting (Shooting school too). within 5 mins of our farm. Also local cinema and for those rainy days with kids a roller skating scooter arena within 3 miles. Close to famous surfing beach Croyde Bay fabulous walking and beach riding nearby. 15 minute drive onto Exmoor. The Cottage enjoys the privacy of its own enclosed garden with outstanding views (red deer often seen) and use of the lake (rowing boats on the jetty and for early risers Otter sightings) for equine facilities please enquire. During high season I’m afraid we have a 7 night minimum.

    The views are stunning to the sea from this spacious comfortable flat. Dine in with the sun setting over the sea and relax with Sky TV and Sky Sports. Conveniently situated for the town and beaches 5 mins walk away. Great walks and restaurants here.
    With the sea just 400 yards away, the large bay-windowed sitting room (17.5' x 13') has wonderful views of the sea and the Welsh coast in the distance. Ilfracombe has a lot to offer with its historic harbour and Tunnels beaches. There is also a theatre and cinema in the town and many quality restaurants, including one owned by the artist Damien Hirst. The award winning beaches of Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are very close by. Ilfracombe is also on the edge of the Exmoor National Park and there are many interesting places to explore, for instance, Lynton and Lynmouth with its water-powered funicular railway or Woolacombe and Croyde, renowned for their surfing and surfing schools. There are frequent boat trips to Lundy Island from Ilfracombe, as well as coastal and fishing excursions. Children and pets are welcome.

You can also enjoy your own enclosed terrace with hot tub and you'll have unrestricted views of Woolacombe Beach, which is just a 30 second walk from Parade House.
    Parade House is a collection of 4 individual luxury beachside holiday lets, within the single most stunning three quarters of an acre, in Woolacombe. Formerly owned by Lady Rosalie Chichester, the house has a new contemporary style with luxury fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings, whilst retaining some charm from it's previous owner. With its contemporary Stephen Graver kitchen, state of the art Sonos system, 55″ Panasonic TV, Sky, wifi, underfloor heating in luxurious bath and shower rooms, your own private balcony and terrace with Hot Tub, you'll have the ultimate space to enjoy your break. The Beach Hut achieves something previously never achieved in Woolacombe – The best views, luxury living and 2 bedrooms (The Master Suite with a king sized bed, dressing room and luxurious bathroom, A twin room with two singles that can be made into a king sized before your arrival, there is also the option of utilising the bed settee in the living room) for everyone to appreciate. We supply luxurious bedding for your stay, each guest will have use of a bath towel, hand towel and a bath robe and beach towel (for guests over the age of 12). There will also be complementary luxurious toiletries, which include body wash, shampoo and conditioner found in your bathrooms, which all have underfloor heating. You will find a couple of tea towels, along with some complimentary dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and bin bags to start your trip off with. There will be some matches, fire starters and logs for you to use when you first arrive too, should you wish to use the log burner. Guests over the age of 12 will have a bath robe and hot tub towel to use for the duration of their stay so be sure to let us know how many you will need when you book. When the sun disappears into the dramatic ocean, the awe–inspiring views allow you to while away endless hours and create memories that will stay with you forever. We can sleep up to 2 extra guests in this property upon request, as there is a sofa bed in the open plan living area. There is a charge of £35 per extra guest.

    Blue Pebbles is a modern two-bedroom split-level house (sleeping 4-6) with balcony, terrace and magnificent sea views. It is close to all three beaches: Combesgate, Barricane and Woolacombe. Combesgate Beach is almost opposite and it is less than a ten minute walk along the Esplanade, to Woolacombe’s famous beach (voted TripAdvisor’s best beach in the UK in 2015 and 2016). The coastal path is also directly opposite. Blue Pebbles is ideal for couples, families with children and well-behaved dogs.
    It is an “upside-down” house, to make the most of the outstanding views. Both the upper balcony and the lower terrace are south-facing and benefit from the sun all day. The lounge-dining area is on the upper (entrance) level and the bedrooms are downstairs. There is gas central heating so you can holiday in comfort throughout the year. The lounge-diner has two sofas (one a double sofa-bed), a dining table seating six and a coffee table. There is a TV, and DVD player. WiFi is included. This lounge area opens onto a sunny glass-fronted balcony, with a table and 2 chairs to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views and glorious sunsets! On this floor there is also a fully-fitted, well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer. There is also a cloakroom on the upper floor. The lower floor consists of a very large master bedroom with king-size bed, and a twin-bedded room. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and over-bath shower. There is a TV in this bedroom. It also has French doors leading onto a spacious terrace with table, chairs, surf store and spectacular sea views. The twin bedroom also has an en-suite shower room. There is a high chair and travel cot. There is a designated parking space directly outside the house. However, all the restaurants, cafés, bars and shops are only a short walk away. Check-in is Saturday only

From the property's hilltop location, which commands a view across miles of North Devon coastline, Woolacombe beach is a 10 minute walk downhill. The return journey depends on how fit you're feeling, although there is a bus service which drops off 100 yards from the front door! The location is quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the main facilities of larger towns such as Ilfracombe and Braunton. The apartment enjoys easy access to all amenities, including several centres for outdoor activities such as climbing and horse riding. For those interested in more leisurely pursuits, the walks along the coastal path are hard to beat.   • Fantástico apartamento peculiar. Me encanta la vista cuando sales del bloque de apartamentos, me encantaría que esa sea mi opinión todos los días. Brillante ubicación, muy cerca de la playa. Una cosa a tener en cuenta es que muchos Woolacombe se cierran para el invierno, lugares de comida y tiendas, etc. Sin duda recomendaría este apartamento, los anfitriones respondieron rápidamente a mis mensajes y también fueron muy serviciales. ¡Nos encantaría volver en los meses más cálidos, y tal vez intentar surfear!

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. The apartment is very modern and comfortable and comprises of two good sized double bedrooms with ample storage and both with sea view. A delightful and spacious bright lounge with even a window seat to relax away or to write a book.

Hanging for wet suits at end of open shower There is off road parking for one car to the rear of the property; please place car permit (in apartments manual) in the window of your car. Please bring your own linen (2 x double duvet covers; 2 double sheets and up to a maximum of 8 pillow cases) and hand and shower towels. There is WiFi and log in details are on the router in the main bedroom or in the manual in the lounge.
    With its’ 3 mile stretch of golden sands, great waves and stunning coastal footpath, Woolacombe really does have something for everyone! Families enjoy splashing about in the sea with body boards, building sand castles, playing beach games, exploring the rock pools for marine life, and indulging in ice creams, whilst others stroll along the dramatic coast path, bird watching and seal spotting or surfing the great waves that roll in from the Atlantic. Even when there are no waves, it’s perfect for Kayaking, Stand UP Paddleboarding, or simply taking a dip in the glistening water. For those just wishing to relax, beach huts are available in the summer season. There are several other beaches in Woolacombe Bay. Barricane Beach is a designated Site of Scientific Interest because of the mass of shells of all shapes and colours which reach this small inlet from the Caribbean. Further along, Combesgate Beach, like Woolacombe, is made up of fine golden sand, a paradise for swimmers and surfers. The next beach, Grunta, earned its’ name when a cargo ship of pigs ran aground here! These smaller beaches are perfect for rock-pooling as the tide goes out. Putsborough Beach is at the far end of Woolacombe beach, by Baggy Point, and is also perfect for surfing, rock-pooling and sandcastles! The village itself is lively and offers a wide choice of cafes, pubs, restaurants and a range of shops selling groceries, gifts, clothing.     Studio 9 is a cosy coastal getaway, 2 blocks from Woolacombe beach, overlooking the beautiful Devon countryside and the Atlantic ocean. Located in the heart of Woolacombe, you're a stones throw from shops, bars & restaurants, as well as several great beaches and some lovely walks. The studio is comfortably decked out with a relaxed seaside vibe, and is a perfect space to unwind. Ideal for couples and surfers, and available for short or long stays year round. Not suitable for pets or children.
    Studio 9 is a lovely open living space, light and airy, with French doors that open out to the wonderful rolling countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a fridge / freezer, induction hob, small electric oven, Nutri Ninja, spice rack, toaster, kettle, and plenty of pots, pans and crockery. When cooking, you can lift the work surface to create more space, and it can be folded down when not in use. The kitchen cupboards contain a selection of teas and coffee, as well as breakfast cereals, which you are welcome to use during your stay. There’s a comfortable 2 seater sofa, and coffee table, with magazines, cards, and games available. At the entrance, there’s space to hang keys, coats as well as storage for shoes and boots. There are also 2 yoga mats stored under the bed which you are welcome to use. The bedroom space offers a very comfortable double bed with a brand new Therapur® ActiGel® mattress, bedside tables with storage, and lamps on each side. Bed linens and bath towels are provided. There is a full length black out blind, ideal for those in need of a good lie in! The bathroom has a large power shower, and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. There is plenty of space to hang wet suits, and store surfboards. In the bathroom cabinet you'll find a hair dryer and and some basic first aid provisions. The studio is located on the 2nd floor of the building, which is has recently been refurbished, with new carpets, entrance and front door. There is no lift access, so the property is not suitable for restricted mobility.
    Woolacombe beach is an award winning 3 mile sandy beach, just a couple minutes walk from the studio. It’s great for surfing, paddle boarding and body boarding, and boards / suits can be rented from a number of local shops. Putsborough, Coombesgate, Croyde and Saunton Sands are also worth checking out for water sports, depending on the conditions. Barricane Beach is lovely small sheltered beach, towards Mortehoe. During the summer months, a café on the beach serves wonderful Sri Lankan curries in the evenings. There are some great walks to be enjoyed very closeby on the coast path through the National Trust ground at Morte Point (where ytou can sometimes see seals), up to Mortehoe and along the beautiful sandy beaches towards Putsborough. Woolacombe has some great options for food / drink / entertainment. Check out Capitain Jack’s for a game of pool, or live music on Sunday afternoons in the summer. And don’t miss Fish & Chips from the Woolacombe Fryer. Nearby village of Georgeham has a couple of good pubs, The King’s Arms (which has a roaring fire going in the winter), and The Rock Inn. Also plenty to explore in Croyde and Braunton, just a short drive away.

  • Mi esposo y yo acabamos de pasar 3 noches en Studio 9. Es un lugar muy especial, muy acogedor, elegante y tiene la vista más hermosa del campo y el mar. Emily nos dejó algunas golosinas, lo cual fue apreciado y había una selección de té, café, leche, azúcar, etc. Emily proporcionó champú, geles de ducha, pasta de dientes y mucho más. La ubicación es increíble, a pocos minutos de la playa y está justo en el corazón de Woolacombe. Caminamos hasta la bahía de Croyde, que también es encantadora, nos llevó aproximadamente una hora y media. Pasamos 2 noches, ya que nos sentimos tan cómodos que no queríamos salir! A mis hijos les encantó el ascensor, pero había 6 o 7 escalones hasta el piso 11, que no fue un problema para nosotros, pero podría ser con problemas de movilidad. Genial tener sal y pimienta y bolsitas de té, etc.en la cocina y las tabletas para lavavajillas también, lo que significaba que todos los cubiertos y la vajilla estaban súper limpios y no estaban grasientos ni sucios como en otras propiedades de alquiler. Las camas eran cómodas y la ducha en el baño era potente y caliente. No se puede superar la ubicación en Woolacombe. Gran poder llegar a la playa o dar un paseo por la costa. Tuvimos unas buenas vacaciones familiares allí.

It is accessed through it's own front door adjacent to a private parking space.
    The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and has a bright, airy and contemporary feel. It has an open plan kitchen, living, dining area with stunning sea views. The kitchen is well equipped with conduction hob, oven, large fridge freezer dishwasher and microwave. The living room has a comfortable couch, armchair and a large smart TV There are 2 separate bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and enjoys fantastic views across the bay and coastline directly from your pillow. The southerly facing balcony can be accessed directly through french doors. It has a large ensuite bathroom which includes a sunken bath, separate large walk in shower cubicle with raindrop head shower. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with ensuite shower. There is a very useful and highly practical utility room which has a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. It also has a WC handbasin and shower tray with low level shower hose designed for cleaning off wetsuits and beach equipment. There is a rail above the shower tray to hang wetsuits. The village is a 2 min walk and the beach is a 4 min walk away either via a path through the common area of the building or quiet residential roads.
    The beach is award winning voted best in the UK 2015 and 2016. There are numerous family friendly cafes and restaurants serving good quality food. There is a local activity park for children including crazy golf, mini go karts and climbing frame. The Woolacombe bay hotel has a cinema and SPA open to non residents. The heated pool is available for SPA guests. There is a park run every Saturday morning across the dunes!

Our Cabin has beautiful sea and countryside views which will take your breath away! We are also a short walk away from Woolacombe village and beach via our dedicated footpath which is a beautiful countryside walk.
    Woolacombe has been voted the fourth best British Beach in the UK on TripAdvisor for 2019 - and it's no surprise why! Woolacombe Beach is one of the finest beaches in the West Country and has won numerous awards. This golden sandy beach spans several miles long and is very popular with surfers and holiday makers. Woolacombe is a beautiful quaint village that has everything you need from cafes, pubs, takeaways, restaurants, ice cream stands, Funder Island which is a 18 hole pirate theme adventure golf, a range of shops selling gifts and clothing. The Village also has a post office, newsagent, chemist, surf hire and two free cash machines. The village also offers dog friendly places to dine with some beautiful sea views. Should you want to explore other area's, we are central to a lot of other areas and local attractions and we also have a bus stop outside of our holiday park.     Sea La Vie is a lovely, newly renovated bungalow set on the hill above the award winning golden sands of Woolacombe which was recently voted the UK’s best beach on Trip Advisor. This holiday chalet is in a sought after location, with off street parking for one car, and makes a great place to enjoy Woolacombe Bay and the surrounding area. Sea La Vie is perfectly equipped for self - catering & just around the corner from the Fortescue Arms, renowned for its freshly prepared food and varied menu.
    Sea La Vie is a well equipped, fantastically located bungalow. The cosy space is perfect for a romantic weekend or a seaside family break. The kitchen is newly fitted and done up to a high spec with all you need for a self catering holiday. Each room has its own television and there is free WIFI throughout. Outside there is a terrace with table & chairs, an outside tap for rinsing off wetsuits and a washing line.

With its own private parking - a big perk in high season - and a world-class surfing and family/dog-friendly beach, plus restaurants and bars within easy reach, park your car and forget about it for your stay!
    This couples, child and dog-friendly 1 bed/sleeps 4 apartment features a light and airy generous-sized open plan kitchen/dining/living area which makes the most of the incredible views, with sliding doors leading directly onto the south-facing sun-trap terrace. Enjoy al fresco eating and sun-downers with some of the best views in the South West or snuggle up with a good book in one of the cosy chairs and enjoy the outdoors from the inside. The living room boasts a comfy leather sofa which easily converts into a double bed, providing sleeping for a further 2 guests. There's a well-fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. At the back of the property is a comfortable master bedroom, with plenty of clothes storage and an en-suite door leading to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and can also be accessed via the hallway, which is hugely convenient when guests are sleeping in the living area. The apartment has its own private front door and useful lobby for storing coats and shoes and beach gear and is situated in a building with 4 other apartments. There is parking for 1 vehicle in a clearly marked bay, with steps leading up on the right hand side to the apartment door. In view of the steps, this property isn't suitable for people with restricted mobility. There is a garden at the rear which is not for general use but does offer a communal washing line for drying clothes outdoors. The property is dog-friendly as is the beach, with only small restrictions in place during high season and literally miles of beach for 4 legged friends to run on. For families with young children, there is a travel cot and high chair for you to use and one of the best sandcastle beaches in the country to play on! There is also easy access to the South West Coast Park and other smaller beaches to explore all within the village.
    With an award-winning life-guarded 3 mile surf and sand beach and an array of great bars, Cafes, restaurants and shops to choose from, Woolacombe is hard to beat as a mini-break or holiday destination! As well as the main beach, other smaller beaches can be easily reached on foot from the village, including the famous Barricane shell beach, with a fantastic high season Beach Caff selling hot drinks and fab sarnies by day and tasty Sri Lankan curries by night. BYOB, enjoy exotic eastern food on the beach and you will truly feel a million miles away from home! The South West Coast Path is easily accessible from the village and if you walk around Mortehoe and Morte Point, be sure to look out for Seals hauled out at low tide near Rockham beach and also porpoises passing by. If you can drag yourselves away from the beaches and cliff paths, Exmoor National Park is only a half hour drive away. Spend a day spotting the incredible wildlife including Red Deer, Peregrine Falcons and wild ponies, or explore historic and quaint coastal towns and traditional farming villages. If you fancy a change from the sea, there are lots of fun, shallow rivers to play in and wild swimming holes.

    The Treehouse offers luxurious surroundings and has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. With a king size bed, Egyptian cotton linen and a roll top bath in the bedroom, you'll feel truly revived as you take time out from everyday life to reset and unwind.
    Local Area Starting with the most important attraction -The Grampus Pub (open all year) - is a short 10 minute stroll away (15 minutes on the way back, accounting for the hill). Enjoy a local Tarka beer and sample the seasonal menu which uses ingredients from their very own vegetable patch. We're lucky enough to be in walking distance from the beautiful beach in Lee Bay (15 minutes) with an abundance of rock pools and sandy beaches at low tide. Dog friendly all year round, and the perfect location for a romantic picnic watching the sunset over the ocean. Ilfracombe is a short 5 minute drive away offering shops, cafés, bars, restaurants and a cinema, to name a few attractions. Woolacombe is a 10 minute drive and is famous for its beautiful golden sand and awesome surf.

PLEASE DO GET IN TOUCH THOUGH IF YOU HAVE ANY ENQUIRIES Welcome to our newly launched for 2019 luxury Nordic-inspired retreat a short distance from the popular coastal communities of Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe, with all the sights and activities they have to offer. The Barn is the perfect place to explore, unwind and relax away from it all.
    The Barn offers a Scandinavian-style open-plan living space with a log-burning stove and pitched clad ceiling giving a feeling of space and light. Double doors lead to a garden, with an additional south-facing patio area at the front for morning breakfasts. That is, of course, if you can bring yourself to leave the beautifully decorated bedroom, which features a super king bed, feather pillows and duvets finished with White Company linen ensuring a blissful night’s sleep. The generous bathroom boasts a freestanding bath with a separate shower and underfloor heating. The fully stocked kitchen will include tea, coffee, bread, butter e.t.c however as part of our onsite concierge service we are happy to supply breakfast items if you require anything in particular do get in touch. There is parking for two cars on a private drive. Whether you stay for a few nights or a few weeks, our contemporary, cosy hideaway will leave you feeling relaxed and revived with a true Nordic feeling of hygge. The Barn also has Amazon Firestick TV and Wifi for those who want to stay connected to the outside world and a music system. Please note - we are currently not on fibre internet, so achieve about a 6-8MB download which is sufficient for watching TV and general internet surfing. While we respect your privacy at all times, please note that The Barn is set within our property and the garden is still growing, so at this time the garden is not 100% private. Children Although The Barn is set up to sleep two people, we can organise for a travel cot to be set up in the bedroom on request, along with highchairs etc. Dogs Well behaved dogs are welcome at The Barn; however, we do have a small child and our own dog, so we would ask they are kept under control at all times including in the back garden, which is not fully enclosed at this time. We also ask that all dogs are not allowed on the bed. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to bring a dog: there is a one-off fee of £25 (with the best will in the world it takes extra time to clean thoroughly after a dog has been to stay) we can also provide beds, bowls etc. on request. Just let us know and we’ll have it all catered for. Cleaning Fee: Please note that if you are staying for two nights only there will be a £25 charge for cleaning, I can only request this after the time of booking as airbnb at this time do not have a facility to accommodate this.
    North Devon is a county of contrasts, from the wilds of Exmoor, the magical woodlands that hug the coastline, the quaint villages of the coast to the beaches which are a haven for surfers this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty something to offer everyone.
