Munds Park (where the cabin is) is a small mountain community of about 500 houses. People are friendly and life is a little bit slower and easy going. There is a country club, golf course, restaurants and a bar. It's quaint, quiet and the perfect getaway.

Although it's just two hours from Phoenix, Munds Park is nearly 7,000 feet in elevation. Even during the summer it's a good idea to have a light jacket in case of rain or cool breezes. In the winter time it's great to have snow gear for hiking and sledding.
