Sightseeing

Walk out to the lighthouse and you will have great views of Dublin Bay with Howth on the Northside and Dunlaoire to the South. Not on the tourist trail but well worth a visit. Best to get there by bicycle, car or the no. 18 bus from Kenilworth Square, Dublin 6.

This is where we fought for our independence from England in 1916. The leaders were taken from here to Kilmainham Jail (now a muesum) and shot. Both are well worth a visit.
