THE BEST BRUNCH! The menus is small, and everything is excellent. Unlimited bloody mary's and mimosas, plus no reservations make it a great last minute brunch decision. Lunch and dinner are spectacular also.

One of my favorite Vietnamese foods, Ba Chi has the best selection of Bao, small vietnamese tacos made with a soft steam bun and every filling imaginable from fried oysters to tofu. Also the Kimchi fries and Pho are delicious.

Very close to the house, Rock'N'Bowl is unlike any bowling lanes I've been to before. Some of our greatest musicians played there when it was a hole in the wall alley. Since moving to a new location, it's just down the street from the house and a great place to here local Zydeco music on Thursdays as well as get some two stepping lessons. Good food, a full bar, always a good show and well maintained lanes. Go for bowling or just to dance.
