Not only is this an incredible source of inspiration for the home designer and collectors in all of us - the shell that was a former theater is a wonderful thing to see in itself. Just look up. (Even with the often snubbish and grumpy staff, I forget and forgive everything when I look up the ceiling and all the stunning design details that remain of the old grand theater.)

A wonderful place to enjoy lunch or tea. They have quite a selection of cheeses, cured meats, and delectable pastries. They also have an impressive shelf of pantry needs from Italy.

Consistently great food, lovely and friendly staff. I always feel welcome in this coffee shop. All the dogs in the neighborhood love hanging out in this place too. You can just tell :-)

106 Latrobe TerraceI have seen some of the best bands in Australia (various genres) play in this venue, although they are known for country and rockabilly music. The interiors are reminiscent of the saloons of the wild west...only quirkier. If you want to have a break from the party mood inside the hall, the venue has some pocket bars within it where you can just enjoy the same selection of great craft beers and whiskey. Oh and they provide free popcorn if you're a bit peckish.
