This is the smaller of the 2 lighthouses near Wollongong Harbour. It's made from metal and open once a year to visitors. Its especially fun to watch the breakwater in heavy seas as the waves crash around the lighthouse.

This is a must when you visit - everyone who lives in Wollongong spends time here strolling along the foreshore, picnicking in the parks, exercising or relaxing at one of the cafes or eateries. Views over the harbour, lighthouses and beaches are really lovely. Find out about the harbour's heritage along the walk with interpretive signage and take a look at the historic courthouse, one of the oldest buildings in Wollongong.

Take a walk or a bike ride along one of the cycle paths around the lake. A great place to start is at Warrawong near Northcliffe Drive then cycle to Berkeley along the cycleway at the lake foreshore and back.
Another beautiful location is at Winding where the lake empties out to the ocean. Fish near the bridge or take a stroll along the sandy foreshore. The colours here are really beautiful on a sunny day!
