Things to do around the house

Here's a list of my favorite spots to check around :)
Just crossing the street there is an amazing market really worth checking: there's rare meats, bugs and a huge amount of exotic and Prehispanic stuff, eat fresh seafood at El Puerto de Alvarado, their menu is very simple but always fresh and delicious, my favorite dish is the tuna tar tar, you really should try it.

Also, two blocks from the apartment there is this huge market that features a variety of curiosities and crafts handmade in Mexico, definitely worth checking if looking for souvenirs or authentic gifts.

My favorite bar and mezcaleria in the City, try some really good mezcal (my favorite is Madrecuixe) just remember to always sip it and don't shot it like tequila ;) there is also Pulque (a fermented beverage) and the music and crowd are always interesting and fun, also, try their cheese quesadilla, it comes with crickets, nopal (a cacti) and a delicious sauce, definitely worth trying.

A MUST place, although this a little far from the house (15-20 min walk) it is definitely worth trying if you are into street food and tacos, it became a sensation since Anthony Bourdain visited and it might get crowded at night but their Lengua taco, suadero and tripa are the best.
