We love Middle Eastern Food. It's run by a Moroccan who has upgraded the place recently. The place is small. Many people call for carry out. I love the lentil soup, babaganouj, the potatoes, lamb kabob dinner and the eggplant sandwich. The salads are good too. Everything is pretty decent.

This is my hands down favorite place in the area. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the food is fine!! This is not a budget restaurant. However you will have a memorable time and dining experience here. It's worth the price.

I like Winberies. The food is good and it feels homey to me. I like the Salmon and also the decadent apple bacon & brie burger. You can bring your own bottle and save lots of money. The corkage fee is about $10 - $15.
Sunday's they have a good brunch.

A popular place in Oak Park for dining also. But they have a huge bar too where it's fun to go for just a drink. My husband likes it because they have a good Mezcal. Of course you can get a good Margarita.

It's a historic theater within walking distance of our place. Just the normal movies except on the first Tuesday of the month they have an arty offering. Right in the heart of downtown Oak Park so just doors away from lots of good restaurants and coffee.

Essentials
It's an easy drive to Trader Joe's and I love it because it's the friendliest Trader Joe's I've ever been in. Also almost no wait time and nice checkout folk.
