Head chef Lachlan Colwill offers two set menu options which are created according to what is abundant, fresh, and of the highest quality. The restaurant has a strong focus on harvesting produce from the farm’s 150 acres, including foraged ingredients growing wild, as well as fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in their own garden beds and orchard. All the wines that are matched with the menus are from the Hentley Farm portfolio. The stables at Hentley Farm, originally built in the 1880s on the banks of Greenock Creek, have been meticulously restored and converted into a contemporary dining room.

Celebrating wholesome, seasonal, local produce. They have a passion for creating dishes rich in Chef Julian's Colombian tradition but with their own unique twist. Their philosophy is simple and honest, just like their food. "We believe food should be enjoyed with family, with friends, with wine, with laughter, with love. We love to share what we create. And we do that at El Estanco." The BEST coffee in the Barossa in my opinion. A cake and pastry selection that will blow you away, hand made by in house pastry sensation Cherys Zagler. A Sensational spot for brunch, lunch, coffee and cake, or maybe cocktails and friday night wood oven pizzas or their famous paella & sangria nights .
