Our favorite hidden gem eatery that's tucked away of a side street in Wilton Manors (2 min. drive from the cottage). Great place for breakfast, lunch/brunch. With a relaxed bohemian vibe, this place has a lush outdoor seating amongst the trees and flowers as well indoor seating. Offerings are healthy flatbreads, salads, open-faced sandwiches, called Slicers and their award winning coffee is syphon brewed, and refreshing cold teas such as iced Passion Fruit or Berry Berry served in a mason jar. :)
Weekends are busy and sometimes with a wait line but worth the trip when in Ft. Lauderdale.

Wonderful juice and coffee bar offering chef inspired salads, wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, fresh pressed juices, coffee and specialty teas, and an amazing array of healthy and delicious muffins. Great place for breakfast or lunch and reasonably priced!

101 Ocean is located in Lauderdale-by-Sea Beach. We highly recommend it for the Happy Hour as the discount applies to "ALL" drinks and the appetizers! Entrees are quite good. Sit outdoors preferably, or at the bar as it's a lively and but not rowdy. Although the service is ok, we feel it's worth mentioning as you'll enjoy the vibe since it's right across the street from the beach. We enjoy seeing the locals who live nearby. Since you're in the middle of this beachy area and at the same time in small town, it's a happy place for us, and feel it will be for you as well. :)

Although the service is ok, we feel it's worth mentioning as you'll enjoy the vibe since it's right across the street from the beach. We enjoy seeing the locals who live nearby. Since you're in the middle of this beachy area and at the same time in small town, it's a happy place for us, and feel it will be for you as well. :)
Our first dining experience at Shooters was when our daughter was visiting and decided to take her there to enjoy not only dinner but Happy Hour which is from 4 pm - 7 pm. To get a good feel of the place, we sat in one of their indoor bars (two indoors and one outdoors) where we could enjoy the beautiful view of the Inter coastal, and what a view it is. We had a wonderful time enjoying excellent cocktails at half the price! We ordered the Orange Honey Glazed Salmon with Israeli couscous, spinach and sweet-chili mango, which was cooked well, fresh and delicious! Although the our bartender was busy (enjoyed the activity along with happy patrons), the service remained friendly and helpful. Our bartender made us aware about their famous weekend brunches with bottomless Mimosas. Shooters is an established restaurant and has been a destination for locals and visitors alike, and with our personal experience, would recommend even if its to just enjoy the amazing the view with a glass of wine!
