There are plenty of flyers for things to-do on the desk, when you walk into the front door for the thrill seekers and peace keepers! Don’t forget to take a look!

There are two kayaks and one paddle board underneath the deck of the house. You are more than welcome to keep the kayaks near the creek throughout your stay but we do ask that you take them back up the steps and clean them off after using with the hose next to the stairs in a pot. The spout is located on the back of the house. Life jackets are inside of the closet to the right of the front door.

We always recommend to stop at the grocery store on the way in since it’s a 20 minute drive back down the mountain. It’s called Ingles and the address is: 276 NC-9, Lake Lure, 28746, FL.

If you have a furry friend please don’t forget your flea and tick protection, especially in the summer! Always check your fur babies and your fur-less babies for fleas or ticks after going outside even if they’re protected!
