See one of the world’s most iconic movie theatres and historically significant landmarks in Hollywood. It was once stated that “Visiting LA and not visiting TCL Chinese Theatre is like visiting China and not seeing the Great Wall”. *Also easy walk from the apartment*

Shopping

There is literally something for everyone here! Whether you’re shopping for a black tie affair or a punk rock show, or if you want to visit iconic LA shops like Fred Segal, you’ll find it on Melrose! If you’re around on a Sunday I highly recommend checking out the Melrose Trading Post Flea Market at Melrose and Fairfax Ave. in the Fairfax high school parking lot. I can’t tell you how many gems I’ve found in here and the vintage is to die for!

Consejos para la ciudad

Facilidad para moverse por la casa

The freeway is conveniently close - making getting anywhere a breeze!

10 minute drive to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, 15 minutes to Universal Studios, 40 minutes to the beach, and about an hour from Disneyland! There are multiple bus stops within blocks of the apartment and the Metro Station at Hollywood & Vine is about a 10 minute walk. Uber and Lyft are also great services in LA and are typically more affordable (and way faster) than calling a cab. They usually get to you in about 5 minutes and I'd suggest using the "pool" option which might take 5 minutes longer but, if you're not in a rush, is totally worth the money you save!
