At christamas there is a boat parade and the luminary lighting. It’s also the site of the largest epiphany celebration in the country in January. Check the calendar for other events.

Awesome beach and park area. You can kayak, do paddle boats, water bikes and paddle board. Lots of activities. With in 3 miles, easy parking, no fighting the traffic.

This is an amazing experience, you ride the horses while they swim along the beach, its a little pricy but unlike anything else. It’s down in St Pete but worth the drive. Cponies.com
