Tarifa (in the province of Cádiz) is a very famous place to go surfing, it has incredible beaches (in my opinion La Bolonia is the best one) and you can also visit the castle in the city.

Estepona has a nice beach with plenty of services and it is possible to do some shoppin in the old town of Estepona (cheaper than Marbella). One of the best "pescaíto frito" restaurants in its port, La Caracola.
