Mission BBQ is another barbecue spot dedicated to the military and law enforcement. Good food, and a great variety of sauces to try out. Try the Maryland themed "Bay-B-Que" for a mix of old bay spiced sauce.

Although it is a smaller building, it has a great variety of options of donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, subs, and a variety of mixtures of everything in between, this shop is worth a stop if you need a quick bite before running out. Much better quality than other fast food breakfast locations by a long shot.

If you are able to stop by the Dutch Country Farmer's Market, and don't mind a crowd, then you are in for a treat. All the Amish stands have a huge variety of items for you to pick from, from sweets, to meats, to candies, to anything your heart desires, this place has it. The parking lot fills up very quickly, so often recommended you park in adjacent parking lots and walking.

This walking trail is along the Patuxent River, which displays the many habitats of nature. This trail leads to the old Laurel Cotton Mill Dam, which is a site to see. Trail is very relaxing and a good walk on flat ground. There are also several park areas with benches to rest on.
