Authentic west coast 60s Tiki Bar legendary for the neon signs and the karaoke. While karaoke is a main draw, it's in a back room, so you won't get suck unless you want to. One of my favorite places on Mississippi. Great food and drinks in a old Portland building. The bar has an authentic old school vibe. Grab a spot on the patio if you can.

Very hip bar on Mississippi with amazing design details like hand painted wallpaper... and don't forget to check out the mirrors in the bathroom. The menu features a beet and whiskey cocktail that I cannot recommend more.

Prost! is a german style beer (and liquor) bar. You can't go wrong if you're looking for a German Pilsner.
Locals tip: Prost is directly next to one of the best food cart pods in town. You can grab food at a cart, bring it into the bar, and enjoy your Korean tacos with a Bavarian lager.

Red Fox is my favorite local "dive bar". It is a real Portland bar that very few tourists would find on their own. Very good bar food!

This is Beer Nerd heaven! Rotating taps and a ton of bottles.
They get the smoker going daily, and have brunch on the weekends.
If you are a Packers fan visiting for a weekend, this is where you want to try to be for a game.

A Mississippi Ave institution all the way at the end. This is a treasure of a "Old Portland" bar in a tiny house. As the area explodes around it this place stays the same... in a good way.
