Hidden away in the hilltops of Ardales National park, Bobastro was originally built by the Romans then later rebuilt by Umar Ibn Hafsun in the 9th Century. It offers a nice walk with great views of the local mountains and the during the evenings it's the perfect spot to watch from the tawny vultures return to their nests.

But if you have the time and also wish to explore outside the city, make sure you include the Acinipo Ruins, The Cats Cave or just join one of the wine tours of the region.
Sevilla has a very rich Moorish heritage which you are able to see all around the city. The most famous tourist attractions include: Seville Cathedral, the Giralda, Real Alcazar, Plaza de Espana, etc... A truly beautiful city to get lost in any time of the year.

You can enjoy roaming around the historical buildings, watching a flamenco show and enjoying the local tapas. From many sites you are able to set eyes on the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountain range. It you have the time it also worth a visit as it offers spectacular walks.
